himself through his flights(all but, wanting alittle excersize to the hill).I
want to say that Mr.Huff and his cameraman was real polite and did a
awsome job.I hope to see them back soon.I believe he said it would air
monday 5 or 6 and tuesday morn.(not sure so bear with me and dont cuss me
if I am wrong-ah what the heck make my ears burn).we had some great fly
there also.I really enjoyed today and met some new friends.thanks kenny2

Thank you for the compliments. I'm just glad my nose did not start running like crazy and i was able to keep my cough at bay. Monday i started coming down with a very bad cold and it has really got me feeling terrible. My wife told me that i did just fine, i just hope i did not do anything to look like an idiot. I just wish that i had my Miss Stik Senior built so i could have used it. At least i went brushless on my Slow Stik before this. With the brushed motor the Stik had a tough time climbing with the added weight of the camera.
They did say that they will show the story on monday evening at 5 or 6 and tuesday morning at least twice more.

Aerial picture from today while Jere Hough was at the field.I tried to take some down low but they did not turn out. The camera shut off. I'm not sure how to turn that feature off.

This is Dog River at the bridge on Dauphin Island Parkway. If the camera were pointed a little further to the right you would see the bridge. In the distance you can see the RSA tower downtown.

Sunset on the coast. Picture taken from the Dog River bridge area.
Can't wait until i get my Miss Stik built so that i can get up higher and glide longer. I got a HiTec Electron 6 receiver to go into my Miss Stik. I did lose control while being filmed, you got to keep them close when using GWS receivers.

You did real good Ralph.
The pictures look great.
Cameraman Bubba had his camera zoomed in on you as you climbed the mountain and said that he got some good footage. ;)
Looking forward to seeing the show.

I wonder how far he was able to zoom?
This picture has Alvin's helicopter.

Hey jolly good show Ralph ol' chap,
I saw your segment on TV pertaining to photos on a plane, that is why I am on this site asking for you to please share your expertise gleaned from your real world experience. I am a total novice, have never flown anything but a paper airplane. I would like to be able to do some of what you did.
Is there a way to know what altitude the pictures are made at and make them at a desired altitude consistently ?
Thanks RC-camera
BTW I have a more detailed question about what I am trying to do in the beginner section. Can you please look at it ?
