Title: Test flight complete

1HOT12C - September 26, 2006 01:56 AM (GMT)
Well, after Justin swapped out my battery and I charged it, oh and I got a new gallon of 30% CP; I got a little flight in tonight. Everything seemed to be fine and all went well.

Does anyone still fly 30%???

Very good, Scott.
Most everyone is burning CP 15% MV.
Might be someone useing 30%, not sure.

Slappy - September 26, 2006 03:04 AM (GMT)
Well, You and Tal are the only ones running it that I know off... and there is someone else running the Curtis Youngblood 30%. He comes out every now and then...

Later,
Jake

Good to have you back Scott.
I was at the hobby store today trying to figure out which fuel to get.
I went with the cool 30. With this 90 I might need to tell Rob to stock up.
My next gallon I think I'm going to try the curtis to see if there is a difference.

Hey Tal, you going back to nitro engine choppers?
Still going to be a Predator?

Scott Godbee - September 28, 2006 04:02 AM (GMT)
Well thanks to Ed, I now have another 50 to stick in the Raven.

I have 3 gallons of 30% that I had brought home from the last three fun flys I attended. SO that should keep me going for a little while.

I can't wait to get it going, since I have missed having all the oily spooge and goo all over my helicopter. Tal and I had a laugh about that today. You don't have to worry about rust when flying nitro. :D

Makes me appreciate the gasser even more.

I hope to have the gasser going this weekend also.

Glad to have you back Scott.

Yea Tal has it the worst with that Y.S. .91 it dumps oil and goo all over everything! But thats true nothing will ever rust, lol

Well, first test fligh went well. The second; I know I should have changed to the new gallon of 30%. Oh well, Stuffed it good and need a lot of parts.

Now, I had told Alvin, No big fancy choppers for me, but now I am faced with trying to fix my old Raptor or buying something else. 2 Predators have come my way and I think I am going to be buying one of those. Still no bling and almost as cheap as a Raptor 50 for repairs.

Still no bling

Now Scott, I saw you drooling over those purple metal bling bits I have in my spare hardware bin.

Yep, with the price of petrol vs 30% nitro fuel, be plenty money left over for spares.

You know you want a "Free Style". :hyper:  :spin:   :cloud9:

Well, it looks like it will be here on Monday. Should have it put together by the weekend.
