Description: from Irvington Field.

The windsock pole that is out in the open field.
I know I saw it this past Saturday and am about 99% sure it was in place Sunday.
Monday afternoon I went to field and it was not in sight.
I walked out to where it was mounted to see if it had fell over or if someone had took it out of ground and layed it down.
It was not to be found, just the hole in ground where it had been stuck.

I'm 100% sure, I always check it before doing auto's and remember it was coming straight down the runway left to right which is my favorite wind direction, so I was happy. I left the field a little early Sunday, about 6:00 ish I think right after my last flight with the Raptor and it was there for that last flight for sure.
:crying: :crying: :crying: Bring Back our :windsock:

I know that some people like the pole.... I'm not a big fan of it though, being one of those people that like to fly quite often lower than the top of the pole B) Hopefully we can find a solution that will work for all :D Maybe we could tie a short pole to the vent pipe that would extend just above the vent pipe with a streamer......
& before anyone asks, I've stayed at home for the last 2 days :)

That's true.... A lot of people don't actually fly low enough to be able to see their plane :roflmao:

Thats sucks... I hate Trailer Trash! I think we need to invest in a security system, or at least a 15,000 VOLT electric fence!
