Hey scott...How in the world did you mount your reciver on your t-rex??

I know why you are asking.:)

First of all I am running Futaba gear.


Your reciever is too wide right? If you are using PCM, the R138DP 8 channel reciever is, believe it or not, wider than the R149DP 9 channel, which is what I am using.

You can try mounting on the front, which will be a B!TCH to do, or get a smaller reciever.

If I had it to do over, I would have bought the Futaba 6 channel PCM. Way smaller and lighter too.

If you are running FM, (if you are be careful), try the HITEC super slim. Its fairly cheap, and will fit nicely.

Is the ccpm conversion worth it? if so how hard is it to get it set up??

Probably one of the most pratical upgrades to get. Its actually easier, (to me anyway) to set up than the standard.

The tail pitch slider and metal tail grips are a close second to best upgrade.
