Title: Alvin's new gyro?? Problem?
Justin P. - June 1, 2006 02:51 PM (GMT)
Alvin,
I saw this post on runryder last night. Is there a place
on the gyro to switch from digital to analog servo?
If not I just bought a new 401 and Hitec 965hb servo this morning.
I will give that to you and put on there. I know that these
two items work together just fine. Come up to the hobby shop today
If you can.
Justin
Read post below from runryder!
Doing the bench radio install in new Raptor Titan.
Futaba 9C and Futaba non-digital servos (9202s).
Hitec HS-625MG servo on TR.
System works solid till I plug the JR G410T gyro into the loop and all the servos go to jittering and working eratic.
When TR servo is pluged direct into receiver, everything works great.
I am thinking that this narrows it down to a bad (new) gyro.
Am I missing something here or is there a know problem with this combo of electronics?
Thanks any help.

Justin/Rob,
Do you know what amount Rob Baker charges for selling stuff in the shop?
I have gone inactive and am looking to sell my X-Cell Fury Expert.
With my new job, I just do not have the time, and the Fury is just
collecting dust on the wall.
Thanks,
Rob

He charges 15% of the sale.
I hate to see you get out. Good luck with your new Job.

I took the Raptor 50 Titan(ium) out to hobbyshop today and let Justin look at problem.
He tried a different TR servo in the system and it all smoothed right out.
Something about the metal gears in the other servo, the gyro did not like.
I have Karbonite geared servo now.
Thanks Justin, Jake, and LT for your great help.
I even left there with a set of Funkey 600 Polished Titaniuim colored main rotor blades.
:D

Now if only there was some way to polish the pilot! Oh well at least the chopper won't have any loose and sagging parts.
