Title: Another Newbie Checking In

Just joined today and I have to say that this place is impressive. I love the various spots (Court, The Firm, etc.) and I'm really enjoying the talk. I came to OLTL through JoVan and I really enjoyed their relationship. Then John lost his balls and I became frustrated with the whole "I have something horrible in my past, I can't say what you need me to say" thing.
So, now I'm really feeling the "Free Vangie" vibe. I, too, enjoyed the warmth between Evangeline and Kevin because it was nice to see someone who could appreciate Van's maturity. She needs someone who will grow with her, not stay stunted in the past. I won't lie. My first love and loyalty has been JoVan, but the more I see of John sniffing around a woman who he clearly knows is still married, the more that loyalty and love is dying.
REG is a fantastic actress and it's obvious she can handle her own with any other actor. It is my hope that TPTB utilize this amazing talent and pair Evangeline with someone worthy of her.
