I really enjoyed this movie...the movie itself was ok, but the message behind it was especially interesting.

Initially, I thought it was just going to be a brainless action flick, typical of so many movies these days, but saw that it was written and directed by Andrew Niccol, who also directed the movie Gattaca, which is another wonderful and thought-provoking movie.

As such, those who watched Lord of War for the action is disappointed. It's not intended to be an action movie; this is an intelligent commentary on global affairs. Recommended.

Yep excellent movie, I think its based on a true story, I remember reading the news sometime back about a Russian guy caught for international arms trafficking
