There are currently no set limit on the sizes, but we do ask you to keep it reasonable.

Firstly, the picture should be in .jpg, .png, or .gif files, do not use .bmp because these have very large file sizes that takes a while for others to download.

Secondly, limit the length and width of your signatures. They should be NOT so wide that it's necessary to scroll side to side just to see the whole image. More importantly, the length of the image should take up at most about 1/2 of the screen (even that is pushing it a little) because it's very annoying to scroll through long signatures just to read the next reply in a thread.



If you need help saving your pictures in a different format (choose among jpg, png, gif), let one of the mods know. If you don't know how to resize, let us know also.

If you're using Photobucket.com, you can have the site automatically resize your pictures for you. Go into your account, and on top of your image is a button that says "edit" - click on that. Find the resize option (75%, 50%, 25%), and select one of those options, and click the submit button to resize it.

I'll be PMing members whose signatures are too large.
