Title: Question About Small Iguana Harnesses

Alex - January 3, 2005 06:11 AM (GMT)
Just wondering if anyone knows of any good places to get a good harness for my small iguana.
Mikey's only about a year and a half old and about maybe 2 or more inches in girth I'm guessing. I would like to find a good harness that will wrap around him.
But I can't seem to find any good ones anywhere in stores or online. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I don't think those are very good for iguanas. They stress them out too much since they are wild animals and are not used to having something around them that constrains their freedom. I'd advise you not to get one. Another thing is that those things are not often made with the ig's safety in mind and can hurt the iguana's dorsal spines.

Thanks Andy. I won't get one then. I had never heard that they could hurt an iguana.
