Miles hasn't been eating quite as much as he was over the summer. I have looked on the internet for answers but nothing quite fits...such as I haven't changed his cage conditions, all temps are the same (although the house may be a bit cooler-although I doubt it since we had air conditioning in the summer), and I haven't changed his food types nor how I cut it up.
He still eats but not nearly as much as he did before. He looks healthy and still moves around his cage. He hasn't really done this the past two years that I've had him. When is breeding season for igs?? I did read that they will not eat as much during breeding season. Maybe that's it? Maybe the UV light needs changed? It still works but perhaps it is too old to work the best it should. Any suggestions?? If this continues too much longer I may take him to the vet, but at this moment I don't think its too serious as he still eats and acts normal.

That's normal. THey don't eat so much during the breeding season (yes it is the breeding season). It can drive you crazy with their bad attitude and picky appetites.
Thanks! Why did he not act like this before though? He always eats good, even in the winter.

It's possible that before he was just too young. At one year he was definately too young, at two he might have gone into a very slight breeding season and continued to eat normally. Now that he's three, he's going into it full-swing. Congrats! Your little boy is growing up. :D
Ok- thanks. I guess I'll have to get used to his temporary personality.
