Ireland; a place to call home, a land of lavish beauty. Castles and miles of greenery, years of tradition and routine.
Italy; beautiful, ancient, resourceful. Old histories and new all combined into one. Centuries of stolen moments.
These two countries have always been somewhat tense. Their respective mobs, mafias all taking a certain dislike to each other. Both were centered in New York City, New York. Each had their own territory, and both the Italian and Irish mobs were careful not to tip over the pot of brewing hatred.
Four years ago however, everything changed. Darcy and Danica grew up best friends, neither seeing it fit to tell their parents of the other. When Darcy’s father Matthew, who just happened to be the Irish Mob Boss, was murdered, she blamed Danica for it. See, Danica’s father is the Italian Mob Boss. Darcy believed that Danica could have prevented the slaughter of her father.
Soon Darcy and Danica stopped speaking. Darcy took her father’s position as the Irish Mob Boss, and has been leading them ever since with an iron fist. Danica has followed her father’s footsteps and has been in training to become the next Italian Mob Boss.
All around people are picking sides. There are spies, lovers, and the confused in between. To be one or the other is not good. The Irish hate the Italians and the Italians hate the Irish. Love is a lost hope that can't find it's way in. When it does it is just more trouble then it is worth.
With the tension so thick you could cut it with a knife, what will happen? Will the two be able to live in harmony? Will something happen what will change the lives of Danica, Darcy, and all of their followers forever? Only you can decide that.
So join us, the suspense is so thick that we just Can't Take It.
