The ruling clique are the Glitterati. These three girls have the run of the school, and have their own fan club, in the form of the Jocks. These are the sporty, gorgeous, rich boys. Perfect for the sporty, gorgeous, rich girls of the Glitterati. That could have been it, but then life would be far too simple, and that would never do. And that where that Wannabes come in. They're the lowest clique. The ones that are jealous of the Glitterati, and want the top position for themselves. And there's a lot they're willing to do to get it. Sabotaging a perfect relationship? Sure. Turning friends against each other? Why not. Stealing boyfriends? Of course. Causing some severe public humiliation? Why, what revenge plot would be complete without it?
But despite all the Wannabes'... good intentions, things aren't going to plan. Because the Glitterati have more power, more resources, and most importantly, more people on their side. They worked hard to get their positions, and they're not planning on giving them up any time soon. And that means that they have to play even dirtier than their rivals.
But then what about the poor group at the bottom of everything? Snakebites are there, at the mercy of the others. According to the Glitterati, their only purpose is to be used and abused, so their cause can prevail. But Snakebites aren't happy about this. Not one of them. Some are doing their bit to fight the power. Some can't do much, or something bad would happen somewhere else. But that aside, they aren't going to be taken advantage of without a fight. It doesn't matter to them who rules the school, but what does matter is how they get there, because that's what's going to affect them.
So boys and girls, why don't you sit back and relax, and see how the war goes.
