TWENTY EIGHTEEN
Harry Potter and his wife Ginny had escaped the majority of the war after Voldemort's death. They were able to live happily and begin their own family. They had three lovely children. Ginny's brother Ron and his wife Hermione had two children, and their family continued to grow in both size and love.
Neville Longbottom has achieved his dream as Professor of Herbology for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and he couldn't be happier.
What happens when Harry, Neville, Ginny, Hermione, Hugo, and Lily are spending a day in Diagon Alley, and happen to stop to enjoy an ice cream when something weird happens, and everything around them changes?
Lindsay McKlien was a graduate of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A Slytherin student, along with her now husband, Trinity McKlien, Lindsay finished school at the top of her class. She and Trinity were married only months after finishing school, and their firstborn, Edmund, was born the November following their graduation.
Now, to the outside, Lindsay and Trinity appeared as a normal young couple. Trinity got a job at the ministry, while Lindsay stayed home with the baby. However, the young couple had secretly began creating their own ... well, army, for lack of a better description.
For years after Voldemort's death, the Wizarding World had faction after faction of witches and wizards trying to take his place as the most feared witch or wizard of all time. They were quiet about it though. There were very few deaths for the first few years. And thus far, the Ministry had been mostly able to hold its own, and not succumb to the control of any single faction, but Lindsay and Trinity wanted to be the ones to change that.
They gained their own followers, and were working towards domination, but were still far from it. On November 3rd, 2018, Lindsay and her husband were in their flat in Diagon Alley, which overlooked Gringotts and the entrance to Knockturn Alley when something went terribly wrong.
The pendant they were inspecting flashed, knocked nearly everyone in their room out for a moment or two, and then settled back exactly as it was. The only problem was that everything around them was different. NINETEEN SEVENTY-EIGHT
James Potter and Lily Evans have just finished school, and James has proposed to Lily. She has not yet accepted, and he is a wreck thanks to her uncertainty.
Sirius Black is discovering his freedom from his family's reign and from being stuck at school at the time. Between navagating his love life, and trying to begin his life as an adult and a citizen in wizarding society, he's got his hands full.
Just as full as Remus Lupin. Now out of school and having to deal with his disease without his friends constantly around him to help him. With that, and trying to have some what of a social life and attempting to begin a professional life, he was a busy, busy man.
Peter Pettigrew had a far better run at school than he'd every expected thanks to the three bigger, stronger friends that he made. However, he was now having to learn how to live on his own again, without anyone to protect him. When the Dark Lord comes knocking on his door, what is he going to say?
Frank Longbottom and Alice Llewellyn are also both recently graduated and attempting to find their way in life. They've both enrolled in the Auror Training Program with the Ministry, and are working hard to try and help bring down Death Eaters through the Ministry.
All of these people, James, Sirius, Remus, Peter, Frank, Lily, and Alice have been recruited by Dumbledore himself to help fight through the Order of the Phoenix. They each have shown extraordinary talent and passion for the fight against Voldemort, and they are committed to working together to bring him down.
James, Sirius, Frank, Alice, and Lily have already met him face to face once and survived, though it was barely. Alice escaped near death with several broken bones. If it weren't for Frank and Sirius saving her, she would have been killed, meanwhile James and Lily escaped together. WHAT HAPPENS NOW?
When the pendant flashed, everyone within a fifty foot radius was transported back forty years to November 3rd, Nineteen Seventy-Eight.
How will having a completely random assortment of people from the future stuck in the past with no way of knowing exactly how many people were sent back or who they are? Will having the future generation stuck in their time change the lives of the Marauders and their friends? Will their lives still be there for them when they are able to return to the future? And what extreme measures will they have to go to for them to get back to their own time without changing anything in the past?
