Title: Charming, Cool, and Calming
Description: At Least The First Two Are True

So this was the field he would conquer over and over? He certainly wasn't disappointed and nodded to himself as he looked over the distance around the edge of the grass. It would work for a while. After that he could jog around the city. Running would make him hot, but somehow he always managed to stay cooler than most guys. Perhaps due to his elemental power of ice. He smirked to himself, a cocky grin forming as he stretched his calves and his sides.

Joesph knew he didn't need to wear anything appealing, women just found him naturally so. Well, at least most did. He relished in this fact and rubbed his hands together before feeling for his necklace. It was a small padlock. But he had no clue where the key was. He shrugged and adjusted his sweats and white tank top he wore before squinting up at the sun and beginning his jog around the grass.

Fit was the word. Physically fit and training for cross country. He was new to this school... Harbor Academy or something, so flocks of girls didn't surround him. And it was still summer. But classes should've been starting soon. He just happened to arrive early because his brother was required to be here early, being that he was hired as a professor and all. Joey pushed himself to move faster, his arms moving in rhythm with his legs.

He didn't have a music player at the moment. He had trashed it in a fight when some guy slammed him into the ground. He had felt it shatter and pushed into his skin, grimacing. He had a scar from it and that was the only scar. He had won the fight. It had been over some girl. He couldn't remember her name... it had started with a T... Tracy? Trixie? He couldn't remember and pushed the thought aside.

What he really needed to focus on was his power. He had the ability to do what he wished with it. Obviously he was powerful. How else could he have.... Joey grinded his teeth together and ran faster. Yeah, that's it. Run from the problems. They could never catch him.

Opening one of the back doors, leading out of library, a tall red head walked out. She stopped to take a drink of whatever was in the glass that Chloe handed her this morning and a notebook. Each time she took a sip of the mix that her cousin gave her she would squeeze her eyes shut and makes a loud “Yuck” sound, then take another sip. The stuff was supposed to help open the woman’s lung more so that she could breathe and later on cough up all that mucus building up.

The mix was a bright orange-green liquid that had clumps in it. The stuff would leave an acid feeling at the back of her mouth every time she swallowed. It was the most disgusting thing she had ever intake. The fire colored hair woman wouldn’t even be drinking it if her cousin hadn’t insisted. Why did all the healthy things taste so horrible? It was cold and it took its time sliding down her throat.

If she didn’t know any better, Isabella Briar would think that her cousin was trying to murder her by giving her poison every morning. Taking another sip, followed by the weird facial expression that kid would normally make while swallowing cold medicine, and then the sound, Izzy went down the wide stairs and gazed out at her back yard.

Everything seemed so peaceful and quiet. There were very few students arriving this early and they would be the lucky ones that she would bug before the school year began. It was lonely during the summer when everyone would leave and it would just be Chloe, the janitors, and Izzy. The red head pouted at that thought and felt the sharp pain in her chest. It always made her feel empty inside when there were no students.

Inhaling, the woman began walking about the concrete plateau that evened out and then suddenly dipped, leading to the field. It was where most of her students would be between classes or afterwards. It was a nice place to study outside. There were benches and such set up on the plateau with planted trees in the corners. Three sets of stairs that lead to the green beyond. Isabella decided to take the middle stairs because she loved always being in the center.

Today was a nice day to be out. The weather called for her to be in a jean white skirt that touched down to about her knees. It was thin and flowed away from her body. She had a silk golden blouse that was low cut. It had wide sleeves and reached down to her hips. It reminded the Head Mistress of a short kimono. To add it all off she had a great pair of gold heels that went perfect with her bracelets on both wrists and golden hoops.

Since no one was suppose to be around the school yards, Izzy decided to only apply a clear, glittery lip gloss on and eye liner. Her bright forest green eyes shown through and made her red-orange curls look great up against her face as the wind would breeze on by. Though, that breeze was refreshing, it was a bit too much for her. Without a second thought it let the notebook slip right out of Isabella’s reach and onto the green grass only four or five steps down.

“Crap!”

The first thing he noticed was red near the stairs. His eyes instantly shot up to who it was and then secondly to see if it happened to be the fairer sex or not. After all, Joey wasn't known for helping men out all the time, but more of a woman helper. Anything he could do for a woman was done without regard to the consequences. He smiled to himself as he recognized the feminine shape. Perfect. He pushed his legs to run faster as he made his way over to the steps, grass coming up behind him.

He was breathing hard and a slight sweat had broken out over his skin. It gave him a manly allure... well, he thought it gave him a manly allure. Joesph smiled as he bent over and scooped up the contents, not bothering to look and see exactly what it was. He wasn't that interested in what the notebook contained, but the owner of the notebook. He closed the thing, gently pushing fallen papers back into the notebook.

Then his eyes travelled up to a pair of golden heels and up long legs to a white skirt. He averted his eyes quickly upward so as not to seem a pervert. After all, it wasn't as if Joesph Edwards III didn't know what resided beneath a woman's skirt. Her quickly scanned over the low cut shirt as he stood and gave a crooked half smile to the woman, locking his eyes on her own as he walked up the few steps to her.

His arm flexed as he held out the notebook for her to take. The slight muscle was apparent, though perhaps not as much as his brother's was. His eyes lit up naturally and gave off the air of knowing a beautiful woman and seeing one.

"I do believe you dropped this Miss. I figured a lovely young woman such as yourself might not want to be bending over in such a skirt to pick it up and figured I could save a beautiful damsel, such as yourself, an embarassing moment."
