In this tutorial, you will be taught how to make an image such as the one above.

(1. Make a new image, any size, but just make sure it's 8-bit, otherwise some of the filters we are going to use won't work. The background may be any color, a transparent background is fine.

(2. Fill in the image with clouds by first pressing the "D" key to make sure the colors are set to the default colors. then go up to the filters tab, navigate down to the render section, then choose the cloud effect. your result should look somewhat like what's in the screenshot above.

(3. Next open up your filter gallery, and apply the "Chalk and Charcoal" filter. your result should look somewhat like the one shown in the screenshot.

(4. Next use the "Find Edges" Filter to give the image a more sharper crystaline look.

So right now you should have something that looks somewhat like this:

(a. Press "Ctrl + U" to bring up the hue/saturation editor.
(b. Tick the "colorize" tick, and play around with the controls until you have something you like.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your final result should look something like this:

Cool effect. It's great for a backround texture or just abstract in general.

Thanks for contributing your tutorial to the forums. :D
