Title: New Eldar Codex
Description: what will it mean?

Some time next year GW will re-release the Eldar Codex (or so the staff at the local GW told me, as well as a load of people online). Their have been a lot of rumours (more expensive Avatars, Toughness 7 Warithlords and Cheap Bikers among them), but waht do you think the new book should bring? I quite like the way Eldar are, but a better Fas Attack and more interesting Psyhic Powers would help in my opianan.

Well the Avatar does need a tune up especially in light of the new Greater Daemons for Chaos.. I just think as it stands, it is completely wrong in that a Bloodthirster can just walk all over the Avatar with a superior Invul save and strength. Especially considering the Avatar comes from a WAR god and the Bloodthirster comes from a BLOOD god...

I agree on that point (althought the avatar is quite cheap). A T7 Wraithlord is plain stupid, botlers could hurt it. T8 is a good match to armour 12.

Well, it would reduce the number of three Wraithlord armies going around. A much better thing would be to just limit it to 1 Wraithlord to 1,000 points (as in the fluff)

i don't play with them, but i can see your point but all the people i know don't use more then one in a 2000 point army.

Their quite useful, as I have one, but only one. lol

the only reson i'd buy one is to convert it into an awsomely dramatic pose, then paint it up harlequin style, cause they look awsome painted like that.
