What Brook's current status with the show is? When is her contract up for renewal?

If she does leave I would bet that as soon as she leaves the role will be recasted and Whitney will be free of Dud for good or Dud will be recasted. JER has no respect for talent on this show. Good talent don't get harvested on this show they get paired with BAD talent that brings them down. But I guess in a way it makes sense since this show is a joke it's highly doubtful that real talent will get the recognition it deserves.

At this rate I don't forsee this show being on for much longer.

I wouldn't mind her staying if she got good writing. But she won't. AFter reading the latest stuff, I KNOW she is being punished for being talented. All the subpars are getting rape storylines, while this chick is stuck in a convent. GMAFB. She is the ONE actress who could beast a rape storyline on this show and everyone knows it. She's the ONLY young actress who has gotten any considerable amount of praise from actual CRITICS over the past year. All these others getting stories have not. And no, it's not for lack of airtime. They just haven't warranted it. I would tell Brook to fight like hell for a good story, but at this point, I doubt it matters much. She is born to do bigger things than daytime. You don't live out of your car with husband and child to settle for this mess Brook. RUN AWAY AS SOON AS YOU CAN. That's all I have to say for now.

There is none.

1) Soap Operas are a joke among other dramas.

2) Passions is a joke among soaps.

3) Divins is the biggest joke calling himself an actor.

***4) And poor Brook is stuck with ALL three until she RUNS from this travesty!

JER caved in and refused to write for Whitney WITHOUT sticking her with dud because he needed a young black couple for his 13-17 demos, which explains why the only thing dudney is good for is having sex.

JER KNOWS that divins can't act worth poo, yet he REFUSES to recast while recasting Belle Black on Days.

JER abruptly ended Brook/Whitney's insanity story, alcoholic story, and lovestory with Fox so that Brook remains stuck with the worst on the show.

SHE HAS TO BE the one to make a move and leave.

Shelly, what is the bright side?
That she gets to be seen once in a while?
Who cares, if every scene is with the sorriest "actor" on the show?
JER has never written dramatic stuff for dudney, and with divins, he never will.

***And because Whit is THE young black girl on the show, dud MUST be her only option.

After all, look at Simone. Her option must be a woman.

I will continue to beg Brook to leave.

Once soaps are gone (which may be sooner than we think by the look at ratings), what will she have in her portfolio? NADDA! Why? Because ALL her scenes with divins fall FLAT, and Whitney's story with dud has always been the sorriest on the show and has always caused Brook's work to suffer.
