Title: What Is Ahead For Whitney
Shelly - July 11, 2005 04:15 PM (GMT)
I believe that after she goes though this incest crap with that peep freak. She will go away and try to heal. Then Fox will look for her and they will get back together.

Hell
Damnation
More stupidity
Isolation from everyone but dud
Until dud is dead and divins is GONE, Whitney/Brook will continue to suffer chemsitryless and senseless stories.

Man, I can always count on you E. Honestly though, I don't know anymore. I would love to think she'd reconnect with her family, at least Simone. She'd raise the baby on her own, and get some SERIOUS help. Counseling starts when you accept it and go Whitney. She has a LOT of work to do, but she can do it. I'd also like to see her FINISH school, since she seemed to be the only young female in town concerned about her education until recently. But for now, I will say much nastiness and lots of Divins. I feel for her. I really do.

I believe4 there going ot be more silly writings to make other people look good.

I have no idea.
At this point and for BK's sake I hope they cast someone new for the character but I"m not holding my breath. As far as the show I've stopped watching and it gets easier and easier to make it permanent. I think the show is heading in a direction it may never come back from and rather than talking about what's ahead for whitney we will have a lot of actors and actresses out of a job. The show is bland and their choice of pairings are equally bland. You can jazz up a show with quick fixes like diasters but once that come to an end you will be left with a show comprised of ALL bland pairings. I have NEVER seen a show like this usually when you don't get the pairing you want or your couple has broken up you can enjoy SOMETHING but passion has NOTHING I can enjoy right now. NOTHING. They end pairings that are working for Nupairings that are bland. They fix people into a pairing rather than keep options open. The show has become your garden variety soap with piss poor writing which spells doom to me.

It doesn't look good. It seems as if Brook is being punished by being pushed back into a rotten pairing that nobody gave a #($* about in the first place, because NBC thinks that they have to have a ' Black Couple'.
Never mind, that when they WERE a couple, they were never written FOR.
Hell Charity and Miguel got written FOR more than Chudney, who spent the first 75% of their courtship as E/T Hand Maidens - THAT is who their conversations were about. Not them.
Then, we got 2 years of the NON-triangle of Whitney/Chad/SImone - what a piece of garbage that was.
So now, after successfully showing her capabilities with the Foxney pairing, Brook is being shunted back into a pairing with the no-talented Divins in a DISGUSTING and wretched storyline that has done nothing but completely RUIN Whitney as a character.
WHY?
Because they need a TOKEN Black couple?
In what world does NBC think that Black people want to see a Black couple WHO COMMITS INCEST?
That they think THIS is ANY kind of representative of Black LOVE?
%*$# Them.
#$*& them for screwing over Brook, and shoving her back into the Chudney GHETTO.

the chadney ghetto...damn SIP, perfect metaphor.
jer and associates have no freakin idea what they're audience desires, and they really don't care to find out, the actors and actresses are more interested in pleasing fans, which is sad, bc ultimately the power doesn't lie in their hands.
Alicia Keys - July 16, 2005 03:57 AM (GMT)
No, the sad thing is, they put out poll after poll about this crudy storyline. They get an answer, which is NO ONE wants chud with Whitney. But then they ignore the answer to the question THEY asked in the first place and do the nasty mess anyway. That's what gets me. And then people say we're paranoid or overreacting about Brook being punished. No sir. OFFICIAL polls. NBC asked me, got their answer, CLEARLY stated by fans, and yet they don't listen. If fans think you won't listen, what on Earth makes you think they'll watch? They are stupid when it comes to the basic stuff now. Just ridiculous. But that's okay, karma come upeth. Brook is too good to be held down, no matter the agenda.

You are right.
Poll upon poll. Didn't matter - SOD, SOW, or their own NBC.com Poll.
Time and time again, Crapney was the loser.
