Silvana Arias (Paloma Lopez-Fitzgerald)
Paloma is digging deeper and deeper into the mystery of the stolen paintings. We tried to uncover some answers of our own by tracking down Silvana Arias, who plays Harmony’s amateur sleuth.

So Paloma’s being all nosey, going through Alistair’s secret files. Why isn’t she worried about getting into trouble?
Because she’s never afraid of anything. She’s a Lopez-Fitzgerald! She’s always looking for trouble. Since the first day she started in Mexico, she didn’t care about danger. Besides, she wants revenge against Alistair after everything he’s done to her family. She wants that man in jail. It doesn’t matter how dangerous it gets.

Do you have the same sense of adventure as Paloma?
No! Not at all! (Laughs) I’m very different, very calm. I don’t like rollercoasters or motorcycles. I don’t like danger. Paloma and I are totally different.

Are you excited about playing a part in such a big mystery?
Yeah, Cathy (Jeneén Doe, Simone), Danica (Stewart, Jessica) and I were just talking about it. We love the storyline. It’s fun to play detective. We’re having a great time.

Paloma developed a habit of eating when she’s nervous. Do you have any nervous habits?
Yeah, I eat, too! (Laughs) We have that in common. But then I have to work out twice as hard. (Laughs) I eat or sometimes I have to call my friends and talk, talk, talk, talk when I’m nervous.

Isn’t Paloma worried she’s going to get fired from the Book Café since she spends so much time in the basement?
I didn’t think about that! I don’t think she cares about the job that much. She’s so into her investigation that she forgets about everything else. She forgets about her family, her boyfriend, her job. She only wants to solve this mystery.

Yeah, so wait. I’ve always been a little confused... is Roberto Paloma’s boyfriend or not?
I don’t know if they are still boyfriend and girlfriend. I think they are. But she has her options open. Since day one she’s dated more than one guy at a time. I think Roberto is her official boyfriend, but she doesn’t take him seriously. He’s always talking about marriage and having children, but she’s not into that. She likes to be free, like a bird. And “Paloma” means a bird in Spanish – it means pigeon.

I'm so glad she's finally getting a big story line & you just have to laugh @ the "Lo-Fitz" line.......that's so true about them.

So basically, Paloma's a pimp...or a female Fox (what Fox use to be anyway). And they put him with KAY!?!?!?!?!?! This is why I can't watch this show most of the time.
