Divins Divides His Time HALF & HALF

PASSIONS' Charles Divins (Chad) is getting his laugh on as Mona's love interest on HALF & HALF, the UPN sitcom about two very different half sisters.
"I'm the cute, funny, fun guy who lives next door," Divins explains. "I did six episodes this year. The half-hour sitcom and PASSIONS are yin and yang. It was a nice change of pace."

Especially once his character, Lorenzo, got over being the straight guy. "They gave me jokes, and I got to do some goofy stuff," he reveals. "I'm running around with underwear on my head! It was fun to be in front of a live audience, and the whole cast is great."

The whole cast may be great, but dreamy Lorenzo only has eyes for one of them: "It's all about Mona," Divins previews. "Me and Chase (Lamman Rucker, AS THE WORLD TURNS' ex-Marshall) battle it out for her, and at the end of the season, she picks one of us. We'll see who comes back next season."

Divins' final episodes air on March 27, April 24 and May 15 — unless, of course, he gets the girl and comes back for fall 2006!

I hope Half & half give him a permananet contract role. So poor Brook does not have to worry about him anymore.

THANK YOU! Divins nor Dud will be discussed here any further. John, I know you like to keep us in the loop, but the fact that Divins is not a real actor, we really don't care what he is doing with his so-called acting career.

If they have any taste at all it will be Lamman Rucker.

Half of me wants a good Chad actor, half of me doesn't want a good actor wasted on Chad.

I really hope he doesn't end up on half and half I like him better on Passions, and I do care what Divins does with his career. I am a fan of Kerr and Divins and there is nothing wrong with him, I think he is a great actor, not to mention He is FINE ASS HELL and sexy ask anyone they will tell you the same thing Brook herself thinks he is Cute. .

Ok, since this is your first post I will let you know what's up. We don't like Divins or Dud (nickname for Chad). We can't stand him so the Dud/Divins love is pretty low around here. Actually, to be quite honest, you are probably the only one on this message broad that actually likes him. Just check the archives of the posts here. We don't have ONE nice thing to say about him or his character.

And yes, I have read that Brook thinks he is cute. But cute does not equal skills and the man has nil. Sorry, that is just the way it is. Unlike our girl Brook, he has never gotten praise for his talent so the reality is, he is not a good actor let alone a great one.

And yeah, you may say he is getting some guest appearances on Half and Half so that should count for something. If it was Law and Order or a movie, then I would say yes. But Half and Half? Not so much. I would hardly say it is a show to hold in high caliber.

And the character of Dud, he is basically the cancer that won't leave Whitney alone. I really wish JER would just cut it off and let her be disease free. But alas, he wont for the time being. If Dud was a good guy, he would leave Whitney alone and let her be a mother to her child and not continue to force himself on her. He is HER BROTHER for goodness sake. That's DISGUSTING not matter which way you slice it.

So, I am about to go vomit b/c this is the most time I have ever spent posting about Divins or Dud. John, NO MORE Divins postings! This a BROOK KERR FORUM! We talk about her ONLY! And Nina, I am quite sure Divins has his own official site. You can spread his love there, not here.

yes, it is a clearly known fact that most of us here do not care for Charles and/or Chad. but, some people may. john, you did post this in the correct section, General Passions Discussion; this section was created to post any news about the other actors, including Charles. therefore ava, torturous as it may be for you, it's in the right place and it is allowed.

that being said, since there is a high concentration of steady, dedicated members of EXQ who do not care for chad, please keep that in mind. there is a way to state your opinion, without provoking each other. not pointing any fingers, just for future reference. and please always keep in mind that this board Was Made and is Solely For Brook Kerr. no one else. people who come here to discuss other actors in excess and have nothing to add to discussion on Brook will not be looked upon favorably. there are plenty of other boards out there, and it's easy as sin to create a board of your own.
