Title: Did you see this SOD Crapney garbage?

In this week's issue, this is the garbage that they wrote about CRAPNEY

QUOTE

Since Whitney and Chad are only on-screen about twice a month, it's not too much to ask for their scenes to have some weight is it? Unfortunately, this once PASSIONate pair we've invested in since 1999 has turned into a dud of a duo.

Whitney used to be a spitfire, but since joining the convent, she seems to have taken a vow of tedium. There are only so many "final" good-byes to her loved ones the audience can endure. And it's a waste to relegate Whit's talented portrayer, Brook Kerr, to the back-burner. Meanwhile, Chad, who was always a good guy, spends all of his time brawling about business and raising Whitney's son in a a recording studio.

With incestuous sibs, a beautiful, lovelorn nun, a father who unwittingly adopted his own biological child and a mystical setting where anything can happen, PASSIONS has the makings for a whopper of a sudsy tale, and with more attention paid to them, Whitney and Chad could once again be habit-forming.

Habit forming in what world?

Invested in CRAPNEY? Who? Who is 'invested in Crapney'?

And, Let's not even begin with the BS of calling Incest Freak ' a good guy'. He hasn't been a 'good guy' since he let Simone believe that they were boyfriend/girlfriend.

I just finished writing them as to how much I thought this was complete and utter BS

And, not only point out how utterly ridiculous it is of them to even print garbage like this...

But, also check them that you know, in the entire YEAR+ that Foxney was involved with one another, that they didn't find time or space to write ONE positive word about them. A story based on history, that was TRUE soap, that was well-acted - they couldn't find space to write about that.

But, CRAPNEY BS - they can find inches of print for?

Oh HELL No.

lmao, the same post on here with in 2 sections with 2 diff views.

well, i guess it just goes back to my positivity, but my opinion is in Whitney's Loves in sylv's post.

but i do get what you're saying SIP, i def get it. and agree. the soap mags suck. but at least they mentioned brook. and chad hasnt been a good guy in FOREVER.

she's lovelorn for fox. end of story.

You know I agree with every one of your complaints, Si.

It would have been so easy to acknowledge Brook's work outside of dudney, after all, that's where her best work comes from.

Scenes with her father.. her mother.. her sister.. her child.. her friend.. Fox.

But the mags can't do that, because that would mean they are openly admitting that dudney is crap, JER could care less about them, and they represent a quota system.

So, we all know what it's about.

Brook is BLACK; so therefore, the ONLY story the mags have ever seen her work in is dudney, because dud is also BLACK.

The mags can't admit or acknowledge that Foxney ever existed, or that Brook's best work comes AWAY from dudney, because then there's the fear that a black actress will "take away the property" of a white actress.. meaning Kay loses a pairing to Whitney. Meaning, Heidi gets less airtime because of Brook.

Let me put it this way:

If there were a triangle between Whit/Fox/Jessica, the mags would still say that Jessica and Fox are the pair to watch.. the pair to root for.

Why? COLOR.

The mags are probably wondering why JER isn't featuring his black couple. Although that is a bit oxymoronic if you ask me.

Brook is fine backburned. Hopefully it stays that way. Because we all know that seeing Brook means seeing dudney.
