SCI FI TURNS SUDSY

Hell's bells! Sci Fi Channel — home of space operas like Stargate — has acquired the cable rights to air NBC's Passions in daily reruns. The supernatural sudser's very first episode — which debuted July 5, 1999 — airs on Sci Fi on Feb. 6, 2006. That's magical news for fans who still miss the late Josh Ryan Evans as Tabby's living-doll sidekick, Timmy. We'll also get another eyeful of a pre-Desperate Housewives Jesse Metcalfe as hunkalicious hero Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald.

The only downside: Sci Fi's reruns will air weekdays at 9 am/ET, when most folks are in school or at work. The bosses at NBC Universal — which owns both Passions and Sci Fi — would be wiser to follow SoapNet's example and lure in fresh viewers by programming this superfun freak show at night. Even if the network can't give it a prime-time slot, I'd take classic Passions over the dismal 11 o'clock news any evening, wouldn't you?

But yes girlie, I am excited as well. Can't wait to see Brook do Whit's drugging at the Vday dance and also Prom, and Timmy, the first Ethan, the other campiness, and OF COURSE, EVERY Foxney moment ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of which, I wanna buy a TV card for my computer, any suggestions?

The one I have isn't sold anymore but there's a similar (probably better) one made by the same people. Leadtek TV2000XP/EXPERT (I had the Leadtek TV2000XP/DELUXE). I don't have any problems with it (just problems with my local NBC affiliate but that's not related to the TV tuner).
