Did anyone watch this show tonight? It was on @ 8 pm on UPN. I meant to watch but the Braves were playing so......

I can't help but not want to watch it because I was such a diehard Left-Eye fan...

I refuse to watch this show. They looked me dead in the face and said "we will NOT replace Left Eye." So much for THAT promise. I, however, keep my promises. And I promise NOT to watch this show. You can't replace Left Eye. You shouldn't try to.

I feel like they're crapping on Left-Eye's memory with this show. :nono:

sylv, i know i was just as heated as you when we first started seeing the commercials, but, i was kind of forced. UPN is all i get and im a diehard tv fan sooooo...yeah.

first off i love tlc with all my heart, always have. and after watching, i dont think theyre neccessarily tryin to "replace" her. this one chick gets to record A song with them, and perform with them on a nationally syndicated concert. thats all. not record a full album and go on a world tour. theyve stopped touring anyway. and, at the very start of the show, they clearly stated, very heartfelt, that the goal of tlc has always been to inspire younger girls, and they feel like theyre helping a girl achieve her dream by doing this, and its all most def in lisa's honor, they talked ab her the whole hour.

second, t-boz and chili should be comics! they are soooo silly when they're together. had me cracking up. especially in FAO Schwartz and with fake Jamaican waiter dude. they kept it entertaining, and were also serious with the girls when it was time for to get down to biz, the performing.

as for the girls...lets just say i hope miami and LA are improvements. they need to be workin to make it back to atlanta.

I watched & I like it too. they went to the resturant(ms) & this guy came out with a book of pictures when they first started until the very end of the career. It was very emotional.

I swear if the Braves played durning the day...I'd never watch Passions....

I was kinda upset @ first when I heard about the show but then they were on the CBS morning show yesterday moring & cleared up the fact that the girl that won would only be recording 1 song w/ them & that they could never replace Lisa(I miss her so much).

I'll try to catch the show next week.

yeah mo the superfan who brought out the huge tribute he did to them, that was sweet. it was random that he was just there with this big board...that might have been staged.

that would be like me randomly carrying my Book of Brook and Whit (sylv has seen it, it's a serious thing), running into her and being able to show her. although im positive i wouldnt have the balls to walk up to her table.

I thought that was kind of fishy too unles he keeps it in his locker.
