This is ridic. Ok so about three months ago my grandma went into the hospital because of a UTI and to have surgery on a bedsore (got it from being in ICU at another hospital). So, the day after her surgery, they transported her to another hospital where she was supposed to be for six weeks to recover from surgery. Instead, they keep her only four because according to them "she no longers fits the criteria for our facility" aka was doing better than they expected. So they literally forced my mother to send my grandma to a rehab center but it's really a nursing home. At first they were saying for only two weeks then it became 20 days so she could get therapy. (She hasn't walked or even sat up in months because of the bedsore.) Well the racist therapists basically refused to work with my grandma and gave every excuse in the book as to why they didn't. So when the twenty days were up yesterday, my mom practically made them discharge my grandma. The place is under-staffed, with like 17 patients to one nurse, among other problems. And they claim it's the best in the state. Anyway....

Yesterday, my grandma got home around 10:00 am. She told me she was feeling "Grand." Around 2, she started complaining about her stomach. To make a long story short, she passed out and we had to rush her to the ER. Her blood pressure dropped so low the paramedics couldn't find it. All fingers are pointing at negligence on the nursing home's part. I swear I was sooo mad I could have hurt someone. She's fine now and will be back home tomorrow. I just feel like I'm on a roller coaster that will NEVER stop. :hair: :burn:
