Chapter One


Whitney is at the counter at the book cafe, she is picking up a pound of hot chocolate and a few books to read there is a blizzard headed toward harmony and she wants to be prepared, she doesn't even see him come in and step behind her as she begins to order.

“Hi can I please get a half pound of French vanilla hot chocolate and a half pound of regular”

Whitney says to the lady behind the counter . The lady in turn says to Whitney

“ Would you like the free marshmallows, or the candle”

“She take the marshmallows”

a voice from behind her says

“Now how do you presume to tell this lady what I am getting I don't even know you”

She says as she begins to turn around, When she turns around all she Can do is squeal , and throw her arms around him, a face from the past that she hasn't seen in forever but its someone she needs to see, her best friend that she has missed for years.

“NOAH what are you doing home, God I have missed you so much”

Noah picks her up with one swoop and spins her around and hugs her, an easy feet for a man of 6’6 and 250 pounds all muscle and gorgeous hazel eyes that pierce right through her, his short brown hair spiked up and dimples that could make any women melt.

“Aside from seeing my best friend in the world , I am home looking for an apartment, I was passing by the book cafe and I said that can’t be Whitney Russell, Sure enough it was, i have missed you so much it just didn't feel like home until I have seen you “

Noah finally sets Whitney down but still has he in a huge hug that she doesn't even want to get out of, the lady at the counter is staring at them, and says

“Umm miss your hot chocolate I didn't want to interrupt but that snow is going to be coming son and i want you to get home safe, and I took the liberty of adding the marshmallows since you friend here seems to think you love them so much ”

“ Thank you so much”

Whitney says as she is about to pay the store clerk, but before she can go in her purse Noah has take care of the bill, and has thanked the lady.

“There you go again Noah taking care of me like always, aren't home what 5 mins and already taking car of me ”

Whitney giggles

Just then Whitney cell phone rings

“Hello”

Whitney says

“Hey Whit its me”

“Is that your boyfriend”

Noah teases her

“No Its Theresa”

Whitney says as she sticks her tongue at Noah

“Whit who are you talking to”

Theresa ask

“You not going to believe me so I will let you talk to them hold on”

Whitney says as she passes Noah the phone

Noah says

“Well hello Miss. Lopez-Fitzgerald”

Whitney begins to laugh hysterically as she hears Theresa scream “Noah” on the other end, they talk for a while and he passes the phone back to Whitney

“That girl is still nuts as ever”

Noah laughs

“Noah, Theresa said she heard that”

Whitney laughs and then finishes her conversation with Theresa then they say there goodbyes, and Whitney hangs up, and begins to talk to Noah.

“Noah its so good to have you home, where are you staying at your parents house until you find a place”

“Actually Whitney I am staying at the B&B until I find a place”

Noah says

“Well why don't you come to my house for dinner tonight, we can catch up on old times and watch movies like we used to do ok, I could really use the company , my mom is away on a doctors convention, Simone is away at college and as you know my father left us, so its just me, plus I don't want to dine alone again, so no excuses you are coming over”

Whitney explains

“Ok you twisted my arm, but at least let me go home and change first and tell my Dad what's going on and then I will be over how does that sound”

Noah says

Whitney checks her watch and then says

“Well its 5:30 now how does 6:30 sound??”

“Great Whitney and I just want to tell you be prepared to lose at scrabble tonight like always”

Noah Jokes

Whitney softly pinches him and says

“Noah just because you are bigger than me doesn't mean that I cant take you and you forget who knows all of your ticklish spots “

“Ok I give”

Noah says and hug Whitney goodbye, and then they head home

As Whitney is entering the house she hears the phone ringing and she is screaming don't hang up I am coming , she finally gets the phone.

“Hello”

“Oh hey mom how is the convention going”

“Great honey how is everything over there”

“Good guess who is home and is coming to dinner tonight”

“Who sweetie”

“Noah”

“Oh how is he doing”

“Great he is looking for an apartment and I told him to come over so we could catch up I hope that's alright”

“Of Course it is I love him like a son he was always over our house , so he can come over any time and give him hugs when you se him and tell him I love him ok but sweetie I have got to run be careful I don't want you to leave the house in that snow storm ok ”

“Alright mom love you and I will stay put ok bye”

They hang up and Whitney begins cooking , and setting up movies and stuff for her and Noah to do.

Just then the phone rings

“Hi Whitney its Noah I cant make it I am sorry”

Whitney sounds disappointed and then says

“Ok Noah, wait Noah hold on someone is knocking”

She opens the door, and there is Noah leaning against the door shaking his head saying

“Yeah Whitney I just can’t make it”

“Ohhhhhhhhh you are getting it so bad tonight Noah its not even funny”

Whitney says

Noah burst into hysterics he has always played practical jokes on Whitney since they were in nursery school.

“I am so glad you find this funny Noah I really do”


Noah sniff the air

“Whitney it can’t be you aren't making French bread pizza are you”

“Yes I am in honor of your return, but I don't think you deserve it for that stunt you just pulled”

Noah spins Whitney around , looks right in her eyes and says
“forgive me”

Whitney a little taken back say very softly

“Sure Noah”

Noah says

“Good now is there anything I can do to help”

“Yeah you can take that stuff out the oven and dig in”

Noah takes the food out the oven . They eat they laugh watch movies talk about old times and just al around have fun , Noah checks his watch and says.

“I think its time for me to go”

He gets his coat and his about to leave when he and Whitney look outside the snow is raging outside and Whitney grabs Noah's arms

Whitney says

“You aren't going anywhere you are staying right here with me until this snow lets up”

“Are you sure you don't mind I mean with this sexy body I don't know if you can keep your hands off me

Noah says with a bad boy grin

Whitney rolls her eyes and say

‘I will try to contain myself Noah”

“Good” Noah says as he grabs her and hold her close because

“I miss spending time with you, remember when we used to sleep together and just talk all night I miss that, i mean we haven't done that since that kiss we shared the night I left for school”

“ Oh yeah I remember that kiss its was nice it shook me a little”

Noah looks deep into her eyes and leans down and kisses her deeply then gently pulls away and says

“ I bet not as nice as that one”

Chapter 2

Whitney was speechless, but she knew Noah was right as magical as that first kiss was this kiss lit every par of her being on fire and she loved it, but this was Noah her best friend for years, the boy that carried her home when she broke her leg and didn't complain the whole way just wanted to make sure she was ok. The boy that took her to the prom and listened to her cry when it was most hectic in her life. Whitney went weak she loved this man like no other but she knew that they were friends and she would never want to jeopardize what she had with him as a friend for something that could be over so soon.....

“ That was clearly a mistake Whitney I am sorry , I am going to go home ok I will call you if you want when I get home but I never ever want you to feel uncomfortable ok sweetie bye”

Noah reaches for the door and Whitney stops him and pulls him back in, and says

“Noah I already told you that you aren't going anywhere, but I think we should sit down and talk about what has happened between us’’

“I don't know Whitney if you are ready to hear this”

Noah says wearily

Whitney takes Noah’s hand in hers and softly says

“Noah hunny its me Whitney you can tell me anything”

Noah doesn't know what to do , he wants to tell her so bad what he has been feeling all of these years , how he has know forever that he wants to spend the rest of his life with Whitney, how he has pent many sleepless nights laying in bed imaging how amazing she would feel laying in his arms, why he went away to the furthest college in the country to try to get away from her but nothing has helped he loves her and he wants to spend the rest of his life waking up to her next to him.

“Whitney can we sleep on this and talk in the morning I am so tired”

Noah says with a fake yawn

Whitney reluctantly lets him go as he heads upstairs to go to bed .Whitney decides to take a bath
she needs to clear her mind, of that kiss , that kiss that shook up all those feeling for Noah she tried desperately to push away. Lit some candles and put he bath salts in and filled the tub with hot water she turned off the lights and got in. The water felt so good against her skin she looked out the window at he falling snow and imagined what it would be like to share this with Noah.........

Noah was in his room doing push ups it was driving him insane knowing she was in the next room wanting to go to her and just talk to her he wanted to tell her everything, he wanted so badly to give her the gift he had made for her for her. Each push up his adrenaline pumped and he wanted more and more to go to her and just hold her like he used to , he need to do something else because these push up were just reminding how it would be to have Whitney underneath him as they made love .

“Noah come on clear your head its Clear she doesn't want to be with you just get to bed and let it go”

he cursed himself thinking why did he ever kiss her .

Fifteen minutes passed and he still couldn't sleep

“Noah just take a shower clear your thoughts of her and just talk in the morning”

Noah decided to do just that he went to go say goodnight to Whitney but when he knocked on her door no answer he softly chuckled, she was always the first to go to sleep , even when they were younger.

He went back to his room and took off his clothes and walked down the hall to the bathroom, and opened the door......


As he stood there shocked the candles lighting all of his features , he couldn't help but realize hoe gorgeous Whitney was even in the nude the way the water glistened off of her skin , she looked so beautiful. Whitney didn't notice him at first but when she did she did try to cover or cower she felt so natural with him there and my goodness was he chiseled to perfection, every inch of him massive and strong.

“I Just keep messing things up don't I Whitney “

Noah said sadly and began to walk away

Whitney emerged from the tub and stopped him. Noah shivered as she touched him God he loved how her skin felt against him, He looked down at her and kissed her with so much passion he felt her tremble and he lifted her in his arms and carried her to his room that the Russell’s have made for him since he was a small boy .

“Whitney are you sure you want to make love to me, If at anytime you feel uncomfortable or want to stop tell me and I will leave”

Noah said patiently

Whitney softly smiled at him and said

“Noah I have wanted this for so long I will never have any regrets, I.....I ......”

“I love you too Whitney”

Noah finished for her as he carried her to bed and he began to make love to her ever so slow and gently. all night long on and off as they slept and made love until the sun rose as Whitney came as the sun rose she moaned

“Noah I love you”

She fell into his chest and went to sleep, she awoke a few hours later to Noah holding her close and looking in her eyes.

“Good morning beautiful”

Noah said as he kissed her head

“Hey handsome”

Whitney says as she snuggles against him

Then Noah turns serious

“Whitney I hope that you don't regret last night Whitney because it was amazing, I have felt anything so amazing and I just hope you feel the same way”

Noah I have never loved anyone or anything as much as I love you and yes Noah last night was Amazing, and I wouldn't mind a repeat”

She smiles

Then Noah says

“Whitney I am so happy to hear you say that , and I don’t want to make this the last night we spend together I want to spend the rest of my life waking up Next to you , so Whitney What I am asking is.... if you .....will.... marry ..... me.....”

Whitney floods with tears as she says yes as Noah slips the ring on Whitney's finger

They begin to plan their lives together finding out how they are going to tell their parents, family and friends Noah decides he wants to have 5 children Whitney laughs at how impetuous that man is but she loves him so much

They decide to get up early and go out to breakfast telling anyone who will listen they are engaged, as they are walking into the book cafe Fox Stops Whitney and says

“Who the hell is this”

Chapter 3


Noah stares Fox right in the eyes and pulls Whitney closer he is not happy about the way, this man is glaring at his fiancee.

“Who the hell are you”

Noah shoots back

Whitney is sacred she knows what Fox is capable of she know that he doesn't take lightly to Whitney being with any man but him, and she fears for her and Noah's Life.

“This is my woman , so what the hell are you doing with her”

Fox screams

“Please Fox you know that's not true you left me for Theresa, and when she left you for Ethan then you wanted me back and I told you that I have moved on”

Whitney says shaken

Noah senses that she is shaken and holds her close

“Whitney baby are you ok?”

Noah gently ask

“Why the hell are you calling her baby she’s mine, so get yours hands off her”

Fox says as he goes to reach for Whitney

“You land one hand on my fiancée and you are going to be looking at me from your face on a milk carton”

Noah says

“Fiancee”

Fox shouts

“Your damn right Fiancee so I suggest you crawl back under whatever hole you came out of and leave her the hell alone”

“She didn't seem to have a fiancee the last time we made love, and judging by her moans i didn't think she wanted to”

Fox says as he stares Noah in the eye
That sets Noah off , he punches Fox in the face and they both begin to fight, rolling around on the ground all Whitney can do is cry, and scream stop, but to no avail they continue to fight. The police are called , and Sam Bennet comes and the horrible Job of arresting his son and Fox Crane For public disturbance.

Whitney goes straight to the bank to dig out money to bail Her Noah out.

When she gets there she sees Julian there coming to bail Fox out.

“Whitney dear I heard what happened i am so sorry that this happened, Fox will be dealt with accordingly”

Whitney thanks him and goes to pay Noah’s bail

hours later they finally set Noah free

You can hear Fox screaming in the background

“Watch yourself Bennet, you are treading on thin ice, Whitney you know you can’t say his name the way you do mine when I make you come.”

Noah grabs Whitney and begins to apologizes to her saying how sorry he is and how much he loves her and would never want to bring shame to her or there relationship he sates that he will never again do that to her.

“Noah please stop apologizing Fox was provoking you, Don't worry , baby I love you ok”

Whitney says as she opens the door to her house

Noah carries her in the house and shuts the door with his foot and says to Whitney,

“ Baby do you know what we need, to do”??

“What's that Noah”

Whitney says as she can see the mischievous look in his eyes

“Take a nice hot bath together and lay by the fireplace tonight and snuggle, how does that sound”

Whitney looks in his eyes and kisses him slowly and says

“Noah that sounds amazing, we go out but shouldn't we go out and get something to eat first”

“No lets call the deliver boy come here we aren't leaving this house all night”

Noah says in between his kisses

“ You think of everything don't you baby”

Whitney says

“That because your my lady you bring out the best in me”

Noah says as he carries he up the stairs

Whitney begins to disrobe

“Mmmmm Miss. Russell if you keep doing that we aren't going to make it to that bath tub because I will have to stop right on these steps and make love to you.”

Noah Moans

Whitney giggles

“ Ok Noah I promise its just that you make my body go insane”

Noah starts to take the steps two at a time he cant seem to move fast enough as he reaches the top of the step and open the door to the bath room. He begins to slow undress Whitney kissing her slow but everywhere. He starts the bath water lights candles turns down the lights and plays soft music, he then disrobes himself and carries Whitney into the tub the sink in together.

“This is nice isn’t it Whitney”

she softly lays her head in his chest and says

“Yes it is Noah, i love how your hands feel against my back, among other things”

Noah groans and laughs

“You do that to me baby but I am not complaining”

“Good because I am not either”

Whitney says slyly

Noah leans in her ear and says

“Lets Go to that fireplace and snuggle”

“That sounds nice Noah”

Noah once again picks up Whitney and carries her down stairs to the fireplace where her and Noah Sit and make love on the bearskin rug for hours.

Noah says “I am starving where is that delivery boy we called him and hour ago”

The doorbell rings as Noah finishes his sentence and then he says

“I will answer it”

he puts his briefs on and answer the door to find Fox standing there with a baseball bat, He smashes Noah in the head, moves toward Whitney and says....

“This is going to be fun Whitney”......

Chapter 4

My God NOAH

Whitney says as she runs to her fiancée his blood running down his face he is unconscious

GET away from him Whitney you belong to me

Fox screams as he begins to break things with the bat smashing pictures vases anything in his way

Fox you need to calm down right now Noah could be dying he OMG god Fox he could already be dead

I don’t care it serves that piece of poo right for touching you come on Whitney you know I love you DAMN IT WHY WONT YOU LOVE ME BACK

Fox says as she continues to break things

Noah baby please please please wake up

Baby isn’t that what you used to call me when we made love Whitney isn’t that what you sued to call me when we were together now all of a sudden he is your baby well lets see if your baby likes this

Fox says as he delivers a powerful blow to Noah’s knees with the bat

There now let’s see that bastard run to save you

FOX PLEASE STOP IT FOR ME STOP IT

You want me to stop hurting a man that took you away from me oh Whitney come on you know that’s not me

Fox screams as she smashes Noah in the side

Whitney has to think she has to get Fox out of the house and Noah to a hospital

She stays strong she needs to talk Fox out of this she needs to calm him down

Fox baby Listen to me

Yes Fox you were always my baby I just tried to use Noah to get over you but clearly

Whitney stand up Fox puts his lips to hers and she tries to hold back from throwing up

Fox grabs her by the throat and slams her against the wall

Tears stream down her face

Whitney says as she begins to walk to the kitchen her hand is on the door

Oh and Whitney if you are going in there to try to call the cops don’t bother I disconnected the phone and if you try you cal from your cellphone and I hear sirens I will kill him before they get here

Tears roll down her face

Oh no Fox the only thing on my mind is Blueberry pancakes

Chapter 5

Whitney walks into the kitchen and prays to find something anything to help her save Noah, and stop Fox. She moves some pots and pans to make Fox think that she is cooking him his breakfast

Whitney what’s all of that Noise in there

Sorry Fox the kitchen is a wreck I am just looking for some pots and pans to make your breakfast

Whitney says as she wipes the tears

You better not be planning anything Whitney I swear

No Fox I am not….. Say do you want a lot of blueberries or just some

Come on Whitney you know I like a lot

Ok Fox just making sure

Then it hits her she remembers what her mother said to her before she left……

Flashback…….

Whitney and Simone I want to show you something

The girls follow their mother in the kitchen

Fox in the Living room getting up to go to the kitchen turns to an unconscious Noah

He laughs and walks into the kitchen

A shot goes off
