Is Fancy going to break up Luis and Sheridan?
They're leaning toward that, because we bonded so well in Rome. Obviously, he has a problem with Sheridan and Chris and she has a problem not trusting Noah. They're the walking wounded, so they've bonded on that level and because of the adventure in Italy. He's also the only one who's convinced her that her grandfather is evil. That was very eye-opening for Fancy.
Any hints about what's to come?
Now that we're back in Harmony, Fancy is starting to fall for Luis. However, they havent dabbled into Luis' feelings about Fancy.
Are you nervous about coming between Shuis?
We have talked about the choices we're making as actors. We want to be respectful of the Sheridan/Luis storyline for the fans. They've been so supportive of that couple for years now. At the same time, its nice. I get the feeling the show is doing a reshuffling right now with different characters and storylines. Theresa has a new character named Jared coming in and thats going to mix up the Ethan/Gwen triangel. Whitney and chad are not brother and sister, so they're together. We're not quite sure where Noah's going from here. There's a lot of cool stuff happening and not just for us.
How do you and Galen get along?
Well. He's so much fun to work with and he's also the heavyweight of the show. He taught me how to make it our own, and how to handke it when you come across a paragraph that doesnt feel like something your character would say or if there's a different way to say it. I realize this is an earned thing and that you never want to step on the writer's words, but Galen's given me tips on how to address those situations with the writers and directors.
With Fancy over Noah (for now), do you miss working with Dylan Fergus?
I do! I saw him the other day and we both said we missed each other. He's my buddy. We went out a lot in the beginning, to rehearse over dinners and build our characters.
You've been paired with two pretty notorious jokesters?
We have a lot of hams on this show. They keep it comfortable and keep everyone relaxed, and they know how to turn it on and off.
After a year here, what's your overall take on Passions?
the fun adventure stuff is what gives out show spunk. I was never an avid soap watcher before I signed on because I usually worked during the day, but i definitely knew Passions. It was the one soap opera that stood out from the rest, because it is zany and avant-garde.
