I have a question for everyone who hates Chad and/or Chudney. Is it Chad that you truly can't stand or the actor who plays Chad or the storyline he is given. In other words if Chad was recasted with someone who can actually act and given a storyline of his own that does not involve incest or Whitney for that matter would his very presence still repulse you?

I hate them both but I was never a chad fan.

Nothing against the actors, I never liked Chad.

Back when I started watching Passions and Simone and Whitney were fighting over Chad, I didn't see what the big deal was about him. Then I found out about Frank, and that makes me even more furious that they wrote that character out.
Chad was much better to deal with back in the day, but now they made him repulsive and then try to make him a "hero". It makes me too sick.

i'm a previous chadney fan, from back when donn played him. and then i tried to stick with it once charles came on, but eventually the appeal disappeared for me.

so for me its moreso the actor. i switched over bc i fell in love with foxney, and saw whit in real love, as opposed to the 'first/puppy love' feelings she had with chad. so i suppose if another actor came on, i might feel inclined to root for them again. but that's so close to not happening that i'm not even concerned with it.

(i do still get pangs for chadney tho. i can't even front. *wishes there was a way to make parts of replies only visible to certain ppl. doesn't want to hear anything ab saying the previous.*)

The answer is NO. The character has been knocked too far down for me to care. He's not a man to me, but someone who wants a "trophy" on his arm and who has to keep Whitney as someone less than her strong, willful self in order to stay with her. The MINUTE she grew a pair it was obvious he was no longer okay with her, and that truly turned me off. Although to be fair, I was never big on chudney. I thought he looked down on Whitney simply because of how she was raised. Like it was her fault she had two parents who loved her and a career she was good at. She was suppose to hate herself or be a snob because of that. WTFever. Donn was a good actor who got better as time progressed, but honestly, seeing Foxney only reinforced how much more Whitney could grow away from chud harris.

I had love for Chadney back when Donn played Chad...I'm not gonna front. It wasn't that full blown out love like I had for Therethan back then but it was love...

To see where Chad was then to now....makes me sad....Chad used to be independent & strong...now.....he's just a waste.

Divins makes me hate Chugh even more....he's a no talent hack that never should have graced our TVs but I guess in a round about way Chugh is the perfect fit for him. I don't think a recast would help in any way....Chad has been destroyed there is no coming back from it either.

to answer your question, no i never ever liked chad harris. from day one he was a no class ignorant bully who talked at people instead of to them. and chad had the dutty black nerve to look down at people that were better than he'll ever be!!!

case in point: look at chad then to now.

i loved donn swaby, respected him as an actor and really appreciated his increasing talent. i was very sad to see him go. but not even the great donn swaby could get me to like chad harris.

i cannot stand charles divins. he walks around like he's accomplishing something by being up our girls ass and trying desperately to feed off of her brilliance and failing miserably. its not fair that bk is yet again stuck with this fucker. like i almost wish he did suceed in sponging off brook, that way he wouldn't make my girl suffer.

i pray they go in backburner harmony.
