Description: meaning in self identity

I've always heard, "Find out who you are and go there..." What does that really mean? :(

I've heard sayings similar to that and I don't like them. You already are yourself, whether you're aware of it or not and whether you want to be or not. New saying: "Stop pretending that you're not who you really are."

Such a simple lad you are. Over your head that one obviously went... There is no argument that you are yourself... simply that you must eventually go there. Pretense would be based on a false assumption of who you are. You could not go to a place that did not exist. Hmmmm

Let me get this straight, you say that there's no argument against you always having been yourself yet you think you're, initially, seperate from yourself? How can you be something that you have yet to reach? What you are (even just for now) is what you are (even if it's just for now). There is no ideal place were you will 'finally be the real you.'
