Lets say that time travel is possible and you decide to go back to the past. We will say that you went to see yourself when you were five and the Future-you decided to kill the five year old version of you. If this is possible what would then happen to the Future-you? Would you automatically die? Then, if you didn't die, what do you guys think would happen if you went back to the present time? Would anything happen in the time frame in between from when you were suppose to have been dead and where/when you went back to?
I think it's be an akward situation if you returned to present time to find your past erased. I've actually thought about this before--
If you killed your younger self then you wouldn't have existed to later on go back and kill yourself, which means you would have never killed yourself . That means it's impossible to go back in time and kill yourself. How's that for a conundrum?
World War Three would be raging--- Moe's Tavern would be owned by Comic Book Guy--- And finally (the most tragic of all) Zelda the Wind Waker would not have been Cel-Shaded. Not that I've caused any of these things because I'm alive now but because it'd be just my luck.
Well, time travelling will never be possible and God is sovereign, so there... I beat all your little mind obstacles :-P.
But isn't it obvious that the future you would be committing suicide, virtually, by killing his five-year-old self in the past? I know this because I watch Back to the Future 1, 2, 3, and 4.
