Before you begin a topic, you must first make sure that it has some sort of philosophical content in it. If it does not, I will either move it to the Off-Topic forum or delete it. If it does, then please check prior to posting to see if it would be better suited for any of the other fora.

Also, do not post factual question here, as such topics belong in the Factual Questions forum. A factual question is one in which you are not looking for arguments or opinions but for facts. If you asked "Which philosopher said X?" or "Which books should I read to learn more about X?," then that would be a factual question.

And finally, please title your topic descriptively. Do not use such titles as, "Just a thought...", "Not sure where to post it", or "Here's what I think." If you do decide to inconvenience everyone with such deceptive titles that give no clue to anyone of what they will see if they click, then you will be subject to the whims of the annoyed moderator who has to edit it.
