Just think...Farooq is coming!
So where did Marty turn heel, or did I miss that?
and BTW...many are those who are not attuned to the frequencies of that which is the amplitude of Warrior-ness. For the normals can not comprehend the magnitude, commitmentness and totality of those certain aspects that are mandated to attain the level of all that shall be forever more announced as the attributes of a Warrior. Blitzkrieg! Blitzkrieg!

ES he turned heel in April 96 when he started teaming with Lief Cassidy as the New Rockers. I dunno if there was an actual moment when it happened. Oh wait it was before April 96. It was sometime before WM 12, cause Goblin said they faced Godwinns in the tourney. So i guess he turned heel in Feb. 96. I know at Rumble 96 he was still face. Hmmmmm when did Lief Cassidy debut Feb or March or April 96?

ES don't worry Faarooq ain't coming until late July 96. I member the incident and have it on tape, its in a match with the Gunns vs HBK/Ahmed and he attacks Ahmed during this match, its a late July 96 Raw.

Hey, stop stealing my comments!
About Jannetty: The team started off as a faces... for a week, then gradually slipped from wrestling heels to faces. The biggy was Leif facing Michaels and having Jannetty cheat for him. By the summer they had gone full heel.
Faarooq debuted sometime in July (between International Incident & Summerslam) and attacked Ahmed as previously noted. He also sported a huger ass than he ever had in WCW and wore a nerf helmet like he was a Roman Gladiator... just think. I haven't even TOUCHED Cloudy, T.L. Hopper, Who, and many more craptastic people in the year 1996. (sobs in the corner)

Golly... I never knew that the New Rockers were heels. I just thought they were like the New Foundation: a continuation of the old team, but without the genie pants. Of course I didn't watch WWF from about 1993 to 2001. I'd read a little on the Internet, but after two paragraphs my mind would wander. I'd try to follow it on their AOL site..... as soon as you opened it, you'd hear Vincent K screaming "welcome to the WWF!!!!...on American Online". Not since the early issues of Supervillain Team-up with Red Skull and Dr. Doom had two such outright EVIL entities rubbed shoulders.
Then there's the Mankind vignettes. In his book, Mick Foley constantly bitched about how he had signed at the same time as Marc Mero..then whined because Mero was pushed so much more than he. Well, we haven't heard a peep from Mero, but in this tape the WWF's already cramming Mankind down some throats. What a shilling, revisionist jackass Foley is.
When do Furnas & LaFon debut? Flash Funk? Also, doesn't Golddust try to fondle Ahmed soon? So Ahmed freaks out and destroys him for the IC belt? So many questions...not since the last two-part "A-Team" episode have I been so on edge!!
..and fans, we've gotta' go!!!

Before I continue ES and Orangegoblinfan do you guys know whats wrong with the KFM website. It appears it been down a few days.
Furnas and LaFon debut sometime shortly before Survivor Series 96 I believe. Probably in August or September.
Flash Funk came in very late 96 or early 97.
Goldust gives Ahmed like CPR. This feud goes around May 96 until King of the Ring 96.
Many strange wrestlers are debuting in the summer and fall soon like the Goon, the Plummer, Who, Windham as the Stalker, and Freddie Joe Floyd. Other crap is on its way out like the Dumpster.
Michaels actually faces Jannetty in a great singles match on Raw July 1st 96.
And the Warrior is gone by July 8th 96 Raw when facing Owen Hart and getting a beatdown by Owen, Bulldog and Vader. He was suspsended for not coming to house shows but his dad really died.
96 had a few good things, but mostly terrible. Kind of a bad wrestling year, but 95 was the worst. It appears 2004 is terrible, as since Summerslam 04 i watch hardly anything, its so bad now, and its been getting bad since around June.

Your powers of observation are AMAZING I tells ya!
There's a fairly large message on the main KFM site: the message board was hacked a few days ago. These things happen. Vince is a committed guy, so it'll be back soon. In the meantime, lookout for any bogus emails from the KFM site asking you to log-in and confirm your password. Please tell me you haven't emailed Vince complaining about it.
I'd contend that 1995 was a fun year, mostly for ECW. Didn't WCW run out "Los Dos Amigos" in 95 as well? That ruled.
Oh yeah..and I thought you made a big deal about "not being satisfied with the current direction of the WWF" and stopped watching after WrestleMania 20, back in March?!
wrestlevessel - December 24, 2004 12:51 PM (GMT)
Yup thats true actually. The March thing, but I guess i got suckered into a few more months. But now I finally called it quits, and will watch nothing or Rumble and Wrestlemania only if card looks decent.

Doug Furnas, Phil LaFon, Flash Funk (2 Cold Scorpio), and Rocky Miavia all debuted at Survivor Series 1996.
Goldust did CPR on Ahmed (mouth-to-mouth) after Ahmeds KOTR Qualifying Match with Vader (Owen knocked Ahmed out with his Bob Orton cast).
I neglected the most important signing that has made the WWF the #1 Promotion for the last 8 years.. the signing of the one... the only... MARK HENRY. Let's not forget the Goon and the Smoking Gunns split... and a fat Samoan dressed up like a Sheik from Iran.
