Title: Phillies trumped by Chairman of the Board

From the Rocky Mountain News weekly baseball report:
QUOTE
STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT: Who is more popular in Philadelphia, the Phillies or Frank Sinatra? Well, put it this way: The Phillies didn't get to do it My Way.

The Phillies were ecstatic to be able to sign a radio deal with WPHT, a 50,000-watt station that can be heard in several states at night.

There was one obstacle. WPHT has a Sinatra show on Friday nights, and Fridays With Frank makes the station so much money that the Phillies won't be heard there Fridays. On that night, they shift to WPEN, which barely is heard outside the Philadelphia city limits at sundown. But they'll be hearing Sinatra all across the Northeast.

The Rocky's resident baseball turd, Tracy Ringolsby, has been known to exaggerate. But for now, it's a funny story.
