Title: AWA TCS #3 Feedback

Join us as we bid farewell to 1990 and the AWA.
It's too bad this tape didn't include the official "Lumberjacks" tag team- Yukon John and Scott "Flapjack" Norton. They wore flannel...so they were COOL about 2 years before everyone else was!

We all know"Yukon" John Nord hopped over to the WWF as "the Viking/Berzerker" towards the end of 1990, and disappeared around July 1992. I didn';t see him again until he appeared in WCW in early 1998. Any idea where he was from 92 to 98?

Oh yeah, a quick Google-izing will turn up the current whereabouts of Mimi. She looks skanky in some pictures, but in others, there's Some MILF action going on.

I remember the Trooper and DJ Peterson defeating the Destruction Crew for the AWA tag team belts. That had to have been right near the end of the AWA run, right? I'm assuming it happened not long after the time period covered in tape #3, since the Trooper is fighting the Crew and DJ Peterson returned in the tape. I think not long after that was when the Trooper showed up in Global as the Patriot.

I am so glad I watched the NWA most of the time back then instead of this crap... just from those 6 hours of matches it makes me wonder how Gagne was able to promote anything the fans wanted with such a mangled roster of "talent".

He kinda deserved it though considering the whole Hogan thing in 1983, proving that he had no idea what he was doing. Instead, 90 year old Nick Bockwinkle is champion most of the time, and Gagne';s son gets pushed like his name was Erik Watts or Dustin Rhodes when their fathers were bookers.

Just thinking of Erik Watts gives me a headache in my eye, and even worse, he's still somewhat active in NWA-TNA
