http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/recap;_ylc=X3o...-?gid=240831110Damn... I was surprised that the Rockies have never been beaten this badly. I could have sworn that the Braves or Phillies beat the Rockies 23-0 in May 1993.
Stop rubbing it in! Argh! (jumps out a window) Oh well, at least we have El Duque to lead the way to victory.
Naw..not rubbing it in... but what happened to that 12 game lead? I hope you live in a two-level suburban joint-- so that two-story window leap won't damage ya' too much. But you may want to stay away from tall buildings, sharp objects and bottles of aspirin. And please don't lock yourself in the garage with the car-windows down and the engine running. Hang in there. Last I checked, the Red Sox haven't won anything. Regardless of the how the standings end up, the Red Sox will always have to go through the Yankees... that's always bad news for the chowda'heads.
Fun thing of note: the Yankees have FOUR former Pirates on their roster. Kenny Lofton, Jon Lieber, Enrique Wilson and Esteban Loaiza. Plus, Ruben Sierra, the world's biggest Roberto Clemente fan is still hanging around (or is he? I haven't watched too many Yankees games since the break)
I'm surprised a little bit in Lieber. He's the current exception to the Tommy John surgery theory (pitchers throw better after having it).
God certainly gave me a nice kick in the ass. In a mocking mood, I told someone what are the odds of the Yankees losing 11 games and the Red Sox winning 11 games to catch up in the Division.
And right now the Sox are on a 9 game winning streak and the Yankees have lost like 7 of 10 games. (ugh)

Hmm...did you receive the email I sent to everyone? It had your new, temporary password in there.
