OK ES I am going to pick up some more blank dvds this weekend. Now my question is do I want DVD-R or DVD-RW, and do you know if an RW disc can be finalized eventually.
Gosh..woldn't it be helpful if there was a way, through your computer, to search for such information?! I can't wait for that to happen... I may even get one of them new fancy-dan Microwave things someday.
Just like CD's, the "W" signifies "rewriteable". You can edit, copy over or delete stuff on a DVD-RW. Yes, when you're done, you can finalize the disc to make it play in most DVD players. With DVD-R you have one shot-- you can't go back and edit/delete.
If you get lost, I recommend picking up each package, at the store, and reading the differences.
