There were so many things I dug about this ish, like the Hall/Ollie interaction on the first page (baseball stuff). The new Beetle side-by-side with Batman on his first time out. The whol Gl thing, from John's ring sparking when near Beetle, to beetle dissapearing at the end, warning to watch out for the GL's. GA asking Batman why he was there, and Batman's response: "Just to see if you'd come.", followed by Ollie's reply: "The Brave and the Bold." I'm gettin' all misty now." That made me laugh. Firestorm blowing off Alex's finger. The whole SBP/SB fight. SB dying in Cassie's arms, sans right hand and severed left foot. The "merging" of Superman and Luthor. SBP supposedly held in the speed force for a few years, leading somewhere down the road of a return of bart all grown up, also Wally and Linda re-appearing with their twins all growed up and ready to fight crime, etc.
jsut allotta stuff. I liked it. Bring on the finale!

I'll be doing a Four Days Later recap. What will happen?...who will live?..who will die?... find out in Four Days Later! An event that will RE-DEFINE My Crappy Message Board!

(apologizing in advance if I've used this joke before)
But, with all the multiple Earths, are there any plans to create "Earth-Johns" and "Earth-Winnick".. the Earths with all the crappy plots and heroes?

It is now time for Four Days Later.....

The big "plots" like the OMAC Manhunter rip-off and the magic crap is resolved. Everybody gets together and shoots at stuff! Now what all this stuff had to do with Infinite Crisis and Alexander Luthor...well, be sure to pick up the Infinite Crisis OMAC, Shadowpact and Secret Files specials for 3.99!! DC is sorry that they couldn't squeeze those explanations into the main series itself. If they did, they would've had to cut out IMPORTANT scenes like Mr. Terrific talking about his jacket and Green lantern whistling "take me out to the ballgame"!

Lots of messy panels, including an overly detailed page by George Perez show all the mutliple earths. Gee kids, they're now in continuity! Even Elseworlds and Tangent comics. Wait... didn't we have this SAME EXACT RESOLUTION with the Hypertime concept in 1998's "Kingdom" mini-series?! Oh that's right, the current DC Writers stopped collecting comics in 1986. My bad.

Despite the fact that Nightwing, in his own title-- an official INFINITE Crisis crossover, said that he was flying across the universe....he's in the arctic, home of Superman's old Fortress of Solitude. That's where ALex Luthor has his big Ol Cannon. While Alex is trying to find the perfect Earth, Nightwing, Superboy and Wonder Girl attack and free the captive cannon heroes. Psycho-Pirate the Wasted Plot Component gets killed by Black Adam with a fingerpoke (Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura would be proud).

Superboy-Prime returns and fights with Superboy (aka. Casual Friday Jr. Superman). They crash into the Big Ol Cannon, saving the multiverse and killing Superboy. I never cared that Superboy was ALIVE, so I'm sure his death is equally traumatic.

There's a brief glimpse of a parralel earth featuring Superman, Jr and Batman, Jr... which has confused fans or created speculation. It's nothing new, just a nod to the old World's Finest stories that ran from the 50's to 70's featuring Bruce Wayne, Jr and Clark Kent, Jr, as second geneation heroes. Don't feel bad if you didn't know about it...the Writers only found out about it when they picked up a 1.00 comic at their last comic show, errrr...CON.

See, everything all ties together!! Being the ivestigative reporter that I am, I actually snuck into DC's offices and found the originall plot outline for INFINITE Crisis, and how it ties into every significant event of the past 20 years!! Check it out:

-In 1986, Alex Luthor originally created Crisis Agents, who were sent out to inflitrate and create havoc leading to the eventual return of the multiverse!

-Hawk went insane and became Monarch/Extant because he was shot with a antimatter blow dart in the neck!

-Doomsday's ship/containment chamber was pushed into Earth and hidden by Superboy Prime!

- A Crisis Agent posed as Jason Todd and took his place right before Todd blew up!!

-Ganthet was supposed to be captured by Alex Luthor's big ray gun, but an errant shot knocked Ganthet off of his course and sent him to the back alley where he met Kyle Rayner!!

-Alex also masterminded the time swap of the Team Titans in an attempt to discredit and dilute the Titans!!

-Another Agent masterminded a plan to addict J'onn J'onnz to Oreo cookies! The agent saw to it that J'onn always recevied SPECIAL OREOS, which were laced with antimatter suppressants that kept J'onn's powers in check and also laced his DNA with the special components needed to re-create the multiverse!!

-Another agent took the guise of Will Payton, the 80's Starman. This was a failed attempt to harness the Starman power to power Alex's Big Ol Cannon. Thus, the INFINITE Crisis was originally slated to happen in 1990!! But Starman had a change of heart and made the Ultimate Sacrifice by getting his title cancelled!!

See, it all fits together!! They've spent YEARS planning this epic!! But they'll need 52 more issues to fill you in!!
