Title: Lost is still.... lost

Complete with 30 minutes of commercials, the season finale of “Lost” revealed ALL SORTS OF SECRETS AND RESOLUTIONS..

1- There’s a busted ladder inside the hatch.
2- Arnst got blown up
3- Michael, Jin, Sawyer and Walt’s raft ran into another boat. Filled with backwater rednecks, they beat the crap out of everyone, blew up the raft and took Walt away. The rednecks on the raft are definitely connected to the “others”. Didn’t get a clear look at them, but one seemed to resemble Shannon (the blonde chic).

The other vague stuff is still....vague. The “beast” or “island security system” is still ambiguous. We saw it manifest as a bunch of swirling smoke...but why it’s there, what it’s supposed to do, or how it works...we still don’t know.

Locke’s exact motiviations and what he saw when he “looked into the island” is still unknown. Locke’s miraculous recovery..still unknown.

Exactly who the “others” are and what they’re up to is still unresolved. They like to kidnap kids. Maybe there’s some sort of slave trade, or a reverse “Logan’s Run” type of culling.

Everything else you wanted to know... you still don’t know.

Basically, more questions and unanswered stuff. Fans, tune in NEXT FALL when ABC will premiere the new season! In the meantime, buy the DVD of Season 1,on Sept 1 and pretend to not be ticked off. After being strung along for 9 months only to get a broken ladder, I imagine several fans won’t be around for Season 2. But four months of waiting and hype might quell that a bit.

I still think Walt's some sort of Franklin Richards case. With weird subconscious reality-influencing and mental powers. Alot of the black/white dichotomy is still present. Maybe there's an "anti-Walt" inside the island..and the "others" bring him kids to keep him happy. Similar to the Twilight Zone episode where the evil kid rules a happy town and can do anything (remember? he created his own 6-legged hamster and turned one guy into a jack-in-the-box...THAT freaky kid).
