I really need to move. Soon. Last Monday, a cop knocked on my door at 8 am. I about pooped my britches, but he just wanted to know if I was the concerned citizen who had called in the shooting. Shooting?!! Yup, there was a drive-by shooting down the street from my complex. Someone fired 8 shots into a house. Oh yeah...good to know..I guess I'll just go back to bed and forget about the shooting.

Denver's full of it. We're no Detroit, but we get about as much as your typical big city. But what's even worse than Denver is Aurora--the evil step-sibling suburb, directly to the east. My mailing address is Denver, but if I literally cross the street, there's a sign saying "Welcome to Aurora". Aurora's getting nastier by the hour.

But hey...I suppose this shooting incident would do wonders for my "street cred"! I comes from da' hard side o' town, homie.
