First off, many have inquired and even less have ignored it...but the First Ever eStragand.com Value Stamp (No Cash Value) Contest will begin on Saturday, March 19th at 10 am MST and end at 2pm Sunday MST.
Rules is:
1- FIRST person to email me with ALL 14 of the eStragand.com Value Stamps will win something (more on that "something" later).
2- You must send your email between the hours of 10 am Sat and 2pm Sun. No email sent before or after that timeframe will be eligible.
3- Send me a simple email with attachments. If you're REALLY savvy, you'll put all 14 JPGs and GIFs into one ZIP file.
4- Note the time. "MST" means "Mountain Standard Time". I will use the time listed on your email header to qualify al entries.
5- My decision on the winner is final and it's not worth arguing.
6- What will you win? Probably a custom homemade DVD-R from the eStragand Video Vaults, tailored to your interests. Alot of you guys dig the "Rasslin" section... so if that's you and you win, I'll probably make you a custom Rasslin DVD. Some old cartoons if you dig the "Comics" section. I even have a few things in mind if like the "Broncos" or "Pirates" sections. For legal purposes, all selections will be from NON-commercial tapes. (in other words, it's all stuff I taped off of regular ol' TV). There's a slight chance that the DVD-R will not play on older machines. If that happens, I'll replace it free of charge, with a VHS tape.
7- If you don't have a DVD player, then you'll probably win the infamous (and never worn) Larry Walker T-Shirt o' Crap..or maybe some old magazines.
8- The winner will be notified via email. At that time, we'll discuss what you'd like to get on your DVD.

Now for announcement TWO:
I'm tentatively scheduled to switch the homepage on or about April 1 (how appropriate). Unlike previous site overhauls, this will not affect your bookmarks in any way. The homepage is getting a new design, that's it. Nothing major...but the "gallery" and "art crap" sections are probably going away or being de-emphasized. You'll still be able to see the latest updates, but the "hype box" is being modified to highlight a random article or news item with a picture.
The current design was done in early 2000, during my "day job", for a failed online investment firm. When the company dried up, I re-worked the graphics and used it to launch eStragand.com in August 2000. I'm kinda' hoping the new design will look more like a "news" site, rather than the artsy fartsy look I started out with almost 5 years ago.
And if YOU have suggestions or comments regarding the new site look, lemme' know here.
