Nothing earthshaking. Just across town to the mean-streets of the suburbs, south of Denver. Looking to get an actual house. I can't remember if I wrote about it here, but after I got attacked (and bit) by a dog while going to my mail box, I decided it's time to leave. Also got TWO traffic tickets and lost my credit card at the bar that weekend.

Plus, there's all the weird east Europeans in my current neighborhood. It was about 8 degrees the other week, and I'm outside walking Ace for his nightime dump. Some lady is out there pushing her baby carriage and singing in Russian. I figured that's common behavior... for Siberians. I know, I'm a racist fuck.

My neighborhood's also notorious for crime drop-offs. Around 2000, it was common for car thieves to dump their newly stolen cars in our area. Some thugs dropped a car in a common driveway and started taking the wheels off. A home owner went out and said "hey, guys...need any help?" and assisted them in removing the tires! On top of that, in early 2003 I was out walking and noticed a big delivery truck parked on the back end of the complex. An old sedan pulled up behind it...the drivers got out, nodded, then began loading boxes from the truck into the sedan. Like something out of the Sopranos.
