I am interested in knowing how you felt when you saw the new photos of Gerry as the character King Leonidas? Do you like the look or not? Was it what you expected?? Were you surprised by his new look? Love or hate it????? *hm*

I love it for what it is---a historical movie about the past---I was an art history major and I can really see the influence from statues etc of the era!!! They did a great job and it is really fabulous!!!
I love to see Gerrys looks in all his movies!!!
However I am not imagining myself with the King!!!
I can see me with the Phantom!!!! Especially in my 1870 ego!!!
I can drool over Gerard Butler on this site and wish I could have him.
The King is just up on the screen for me to ENJOY!!!!
But hey it is a great look and I plan to ENJOY it!

When I first saw them I was taken aback. I really was expecting something spectacular but still- he looked amazing. I couldn't believe that he had toned up and changed his physical appearance so much in so short a time. Don't you think he has had to diet as well as work out like a mad man to look like that? How about the hair and beard??? It really was more than I expected. But then, the hot scot - never fails to deliver. *kilt* *luv* *kilt*

I am not sure what I was expecting really---Attila with shorter hair and a loincloth maybe!!! :D
I admitt I wasn't expecting what I saw in those photos! But then I am not big into that history period. If it had been Egyptian I'd have had a firmer idea of what I expected!!! I just saw it, and went WOW and then saw the historical connection to old statues and such and when "Oh well of course"
I am sure Gerry worked in the Gym daily and had to watch his diet to acheive that look!!! But it is as I have said before, the man just throws himself into whatever he commits himself to!!! They ask him to do A, B, and C---and the Man does and throws in D, E, F and G!!!!
In this case he deffinately threw in G----G as in GASP!!!!! :p:

Or the big "O" for ?????? Ok, I know what you are thinking, :no: I simply meant Overpowering, omnipotent, Oogling ..............can you think of any other o words :rolleyes: that apply?????

OMG I think I dislocated my jaw it dropped so far when I saw those pictures - he is a muscled Greek God in those pictures.

Is this the same man who played the Phantom? - what another amazing transformation.

This movie will surely make people take notice of him... for his acting abilities of course!!!! :p:

How do I feel about his new look?? :um: :um: :um: :oo: I like it I like it!!! Especially that leather loin cloth. That man has to have some confidence in his looks and physicality to be able to wear and not wear some of the costumes that he has been given.
