I followed Beowulf and Grendel from the
beginning....
It was great being on the official site
and (

and watching this movie unfold...
It wasn't everyone's cup of tea
but I love chainmail and swords...
and set that with Icealnd as a backdrop
and who could resist......
Wrath of Gods tells the full story of what
Sturla and team went through to make this movie....

Did anyone here see the newest Beowulf release with Angelina Jolie in it? I have not and don't intend to but I was curious to hear comparisons.

Nope..haven't seen it. Nothing bad towards the movie or its stars, but I never had intentions of watching it. I already have my Beowulf, LOL.

I feel the same as Mischa. I didn't need to see it, why when Gerry has already done it, and done it well? No need. So, I never saw it.

Okay I saw the new one.. I am a Jolie fan actually... but.. it totally didnt compare to this one.. and you all aren't missing anything... plus it was more animated then not.. so all you really got was the actor's voice overs.. But by the end of the movie I was like.. well.. I really prefer Gerry's LOLhmmm maybe I'm just to into Mr. Butler :)
