I was SOOOOO worried that Walmart would run out before I got there!
But they had plenty in my store!
So I got my copy----but have not watched it yet---deffinatly would watch those scenes I had not gotten to seen first anyway!
REAPER is on at 9, so maybe I can watch it after that, to busy to watch it this second and lots going on!
I'll let you know what I think after I see those New to Us scenes! *hang*

I didn't get to see this film so i am anxious to get the DVD. Hopefully, I can get to WalMart soon!

I CAN SEE WHY SOME OF THE SCENES DIDN'T MAKE IT INTO THE MOVIE!
AS FOR THE ONE WITH GERRY IN IT-----WELL I JUST KEPT CRYING!!!! I DIDN'T LIKE SEEING HIM LIKE THAT! AND EVEN THO HE WAS BEING FUNNY---WELL IT WASN'T REALLY VERY AMUSING WHEN HE LOOKED LIKE HE WAS DIEING! THAT'S MY TAKE ANYWAY.
MYSTIC SIN CALLED THIS MORNING FROM WAY ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND SHE HAD JUST SEEN PS I LOVE YOU FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME AND CALLED ME IMMEDIATELY AFTER WATCHING THE DVD---SHE WAS STILL CRYING! YEP-I KNOW THE FEELING WELL!!! :wah:

It's been in my dvd player since I bought it, and I've been crying ever since. lol There's a lot of lines in the movie Gerry says that just get to me. I'm sure everyone else too, but there you have it. I know I've said this before, but I'm glad the actual Gerry is alive and well...and has stopped smoking! Makes me feel a little better. lol *luvgb*

:um: hey, did anyone else catch when Gerry said, "I'd love to lick your Glaswegian chocolate" ?! I heard the chocolate part in the theater, but I didn't know why he said it. lol Then, obviously, yesterday one of the first things I did was turn on the subtitles. lol Reminded me when I saw Shooters for the first time, and couldn't understand a word they were saying. lol ('do you understand me? do you understand me? do you?" no I don't, Gerry. but keep talking. lol) Even with the subtitles, Gerry says this so fast it's hard to understand. Yeah, so, hmm...I'm gonna have to find out what it means. Of course, I have my hunches, but you know--have to be certain. lol

Yeah, I almost forgot..watching it right now...sleeping with one of the best friends still creeps me out. lol Sleeping with anyone so soon after your husband's death is strange to me, but then to find out he was one of his closest friends! Eww. But I'm one of these people, if my husband died, and he wanted me to remarry so I could be happy, I couldn't. That's what irritated me the most about the book was that guy trying to hit on her so soon. I would have been like, "I am married to Gerry...he died, but he will always be my husband. Leave me alone." I guess that has a lot to do with my mom, since my father passed away, but that's how I feel. I wouldn't be able to remarry...I would love my husband too much. I don't think I would. Not condemning or judging someone else, I just couldnt do it.

Well living in the UK-I have to wait until early next week to get it. :pouts: Anyway starshine, I thought the term "Glaswegian chocolate" is a reference to a deep fried Mars candy bar since it was founded in Glasgow. :um: I'll have to ask the Scottish boy about that.

Actually I was thinking the same thingie about sleeping with another guy so soon---I mean it's NOT in my personality---but then maybe it's just me. I got my copy first thing as my store opened. :) Plus the fact that the new Clay Aiken cd came out on the same day. (yes I am a Clay fan) I still haven't had a good opportunity to watch it yet, I was hoping my Chris and I could make an evening of it seeing as he loves Gerry too but our schedules just haven't matched. So, I will let you know what I think when I do get a chance to see it.

Last night we watched PS I LOVE YOU again---first time I made it all the way through without crying---which doesn't mean I did get a but choked up now and again!

I REALLY love the line "You're not going to make me sleep in the bathtub again are you?"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way Syn, noticed on the TV it's not so clear (well maybe you have a BIG screen again), but at the movies, on his suspenders clip---it's DEFFINATELY A FLUR DE LIS design! See that Phantom/France thingie again!

To others---Syn and I noticed Gerry seems to always have this FRANCE thingie going on! Phantom=Paris. Timeline=Southern France. I won't bore you---but it's kinda funny! Especially as my heritage is French, so I deffinately notice these things! :um:

No we dont have a big tv, but Kat just resently bought a 35" Plasma its got lovely color LOL I so love this movie, heehee sleep in the bathtub yes that was funny. And the looks he gives cause she's about to freak out an he knows it, and loves her for it.. its soo wonderful *BIG SIGH*

Guess what? I was in deep sleep and I woke up to "PS I love you", my daughter is watching it with her friend, Krista. I know he's dead but he kept me alive doing my homework.
