Description: Messages...For...Gerry :)

Hey Everyone!

This seems to be one of the only thread that isn't being used. I'd like to change all that. Mischa and I made it clear to each other, when we dreamed of Discover Gerry, that Gerry, if he wanted to, could have major axcess to this site. At the old site, that was one of our biggest concerns--all of these wonderful fans, and Gerry not being allowed to read all the awesome well wishes that have been said about him, and to him. With that said, I hope with this thread, Gerry can finally read the things we have been wanting to say for as long as we have known of him. I can't promise he'll read every single one of them, but, maybe, your message might do him a world of good.

So, who's first?

Starshine, that is a very good point indeed!

*ponders* What would I want to say to Gerry..?? :um:

That the character he has brought to his films, be it humor, sadness, love, anger..and countless other emotions, have truly touched me as a human being, and made watching a film so much more than just an entertaining experience.
He is a deeply gifted individual, who has the power to change a dreadful day into a grand one. His seemingly boundless kindness and generosity towards others is remarkable and makes it easy to see why he has won the hearts of so many.
I wish him nothing but the best, as he deserves, may happieness follow him to the ends of the earth and his life be as special as he is. We are blessed to be able to see so much of this extraordinary man.

P.S I love you..

For me putting a Message to Gerry in a few words is next to impossible.

Dear Gerry---how can I tell you that you have changed my view of the world and even of my place in it? I was a very introverted and reclusive lady who spent a great deal of time in depression! I wasn't even interested in computers until The Phantom of The Opera came into my life. Once that happened I HAD to learn computers to be able to buy things on ebay about Phantom, and to view pix and news of you!--- and that started the change in my world and life.
I didn't think I would want to be in a Forum, because I sorta wanted what I felt about the Phantom to be a secret inside me! My niece pretty much sat me down and made me join and I joined this Forum---and I stayed and made friends here--and I learned to express myself and my emotions.
I'm now in a Victorian Reinactment Group----dressing in Victorian costumes and going about various events with new friends I'd have never had before. I've long ago dropped being depressed except for rare occasions. And I am a different person. None of this would have happened had it not been for your heartfelt proformance as The Phantom.
Now I enjoy all your roles. And getting to know you through them has made me open myself to the possibility of a man in my life more than I ever would have been able to before. I no longer fear taking a step out without first making sure everything was nder my control.
That probably all sounds ridiculous, but for those of us ladies who have been where I came from---they will understand.
My heartfelt thanks and love, and ever devotion will be yours. No matter where I go in life---you will always be a part of me. You created worlds within me I never knew exsisted. Your acting has touched my very soul. *hrt*

Hi Gerry,

I'm just so glad to know an actor like you who can dance, sing and act. You have such a humble heart.

You have such a humble heart.

That's sweet..and my thoughts exactly.

I have a lot to say to him...I think I might put it to paper (or in this case, on here) tonight when I have the time so sit and think, lol.

Dear Gerry,

I've always wondered what I would say, if I were standing in front of you. I guess being one of the owners of a fansite dedicated to you, you would think I would have lots of things coming to mind as I type this to you. Words cannot express how much you move and inspire me to change for the better. You always either bring a smile to my face or tears to my eyes thinking about you. You are the one person who can make me cry with a look into the camera lens. Although it may be unwarranted, I will always have an affection for you; a place in my heart for you. I wholeheartedly offer my well wishes to not only your career but to your personal life as well. I really pray the best God has to offer you. You are special, Gerry. I have and will keep you in my prayers for the days to come.

Much Love,

Michaela
