I heard it through the Internet grapevine that some fans of Gerard Butler think that my recent profile quotes him saying he doesn't like his fans. That couldn't be farther from the truth. In fact, the quote in question illustrates how devoted he is to his followers. And he has many. As he should have.

The Glaswegian is not only talented but entertaining to speak with, as witty as he is wise. He is also a bit caustic and vivid in his descriptions. But please Butlerites read the piece again. Read the quote again. When you do will understand this: I am as a big of fan of the actor's honesty as you are his talent.

That's funny its the same article I reread and twisted his words. lol It's nice to know Gerry loves his fans. I guess I'm just waiting for him to say, 'the hell with you all--I'm a celebrity, and don't need you anymore!' I guess he has every right to it, and lets be honest with ourselves, we are lucky he's the one and not some other actor that doesn't care how we feel. There are times when even I think he must be tired of our charisma, but I'm still thankful he puts up with it. I've never met him, so I don't know how he would treat me personally, but I would hope it's all this kindness and compassion I've heard about from others. He SEEMS like a warm and friendly person, so, I would think they are right. I don't know. EVERY SINGLE TIME I think, "come on he can't be that great!" he always proves my theory wrong. Thank God. lol

But I can see that it is possible for this to get mis interperated. The quote there is.

And the coments below the article, too funny, and it is strange that some people need to get rude just to justefy that they jealousy. or their ignorance of what a fan are.
