The second video diary for Frank Miller's "300", directed by Zack Snyder went online at the official site. Production Designer Jim Bissell gives an in depth look at the enormous amount of planning that was required while designing the world of "300". Jim discusses how multipurpose terrains and completely digital landscapes were designed to blend seamlessly with relatively more traditional set pieces. To watch the Video, just click here.
Also Yahoo postet a new Behind the Scenes Video for the movie. It's called "Spartan Training" and undefined undefined Star Gerard Butler introduces a look at the intensive and rigorous exercise program developed by trainer Mark Twight to turn the actors into the fearsome Spartan army. The video can be found here.
"Climb to the Ephor's Temple" - Rough Composite
Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, "300" is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy. The film brings Miller’s ("Sin City") acclaimed graphic novel to life by combining live action with virtual backgrounds that capture his distinct vision of this ancient historic tale.
