Yes but Canada is HUGE! Vancouver is 2305K away from Winnipeg (where I am) and Montreal (where Gerry is finishing up 300) is 2282K - way too far for me. I am afraid to fly and I certainly can't drive that far! Alone yet!

I read the write up on what the movie is about and it looks very intense and different (as usual) from Gerry's other movies.

Will watch the Video Clip from the GG awards when I get home....this computer here at work doesn't allow videos.

Wow Canada seems to be drawing alot more movie makers over here these days which is great for our industry. And of course having Gerry in the same time zone is always a bonus :)

It's because they can make movies cheaper here. A friend of my daughter's works on most of the movies filmed here and her roommate's dad is the animal handler for most of the movies that have horses, dogs etc in them. Her roommate was the rat handler (ugh) a few years ago for some lame horror movie that was filmed here + he worked on The Saddest Music in the World and made one of the costumes worn by Isabella Rosellini.

About the Canada guy who works in the films with animals, any chance he worked on the TNT Original Film THE VIRGINIAN??? I had a thing on Bill Pullman (Star, director, producer of that one) before Gerry came around and blew him out of the water!!!!

With Leo...he does one maybe two movies every two years, so he really spreads them out. I'm glad Gerry will be in the movie theater, it seems, all year long. *kilt*

Well true---we get all these films at once---but we've been waiting a VERY long time!!! I mean I have not seen him on the big screen (our town did not get the films) since POTO!!!!
