Title: Law and Order
Description: Any fans?

I was just curious. I've been really into SVU for about a year now, thanks to my girlfriend and her sister, but lately I've caught the original series a couple of times and I've enjoyed that too. I haven't watched any Trial by Jury and I've only seen one episode of Criminal Intent.

To be honest, I've never really liked any of those shows. I watch them but they don't really hold my interest.

Ever watch SVU? Aside from the first season or two, the show is quite compelling and addicting.

I didn't at first either. Fortunately, my girlfriend and her sister were addicted to it so they watched it frequently. I think it actually took about 10 episodes before I started watching it on my own at home.

Of the 3, I like Crminal Intent the best because it features masterful acting by Vincent D'Onofrio, who I first recall seeing in the episode of Homicide: Life On The Street where he had been run over by a subway train.

I do like D'Onofrio, though I don't usually get into Criminal Intent's storylines. I was really big on SVU for a while (fallen out in the last year, the newer episodes haven't been doing much for me). I think my favorite all-time Law and Order anything is the SVU where Stabler spends the majority of the episode in an intense interrogation with a rapist who got away from him in the past. From the opening scene, where they are setting up the room to be intimidating (tampering with the light, so it will flicker, for example) to the final moment when Stabler loses his temper on his locker, it's just an all around fantastic show.

I refuse to watch them, solely based on the fact that they're exponentially multiplying.

Sounds like me and reality TV.
