Title: The Wrestler Kickass Match Name-Game
Description: This could be fun, or lame
jamiegeist - April 13, 2005 11:51 PM (GMT)
Okay, so I was googling for some info and found a thread of some guys playing kind of a name-game of sorts in a forum. Looked like fun. The rules are as such.
I state my favorite match involving 2 wrestlers. From their, someone has to take the second wrestler mentioned, and state his/her favorite match involving that wrestler, and so on. The catch is, the same match cannot be used twice, and try to be legit in the fact that it is your "favorite" match involving that superstar (that hasn't been used yet). And no back-to-back posting. Make sure at least one person jumps in. And try to include the event and timeframe, or something of the like just to make it clean. And comments are okay, but make sure you're doing it as you play the game. Man, this got longwinded. So an example for the first few. If my favorite match were:
Shelton Benjamin v Gene Snitsky (RAW, March05)
the next entry would be:
Gene Snitsky v Kane (Some Stupid PPV, 04-05)
and then:
Kane v Undertaker (Wrestlemania 14)
So, make sure you use the 'new' superstar to proceed with the game. Like, after Snitsky/Kane, and then Taker/Kane, you should follow with a unique Taker match, not a Kane match. Understand?
Lets see which dumbass breaks the rules first. A quick recap:
1. Must be a "favorite" match.
2. Cannot be used previously in the game.
3. Must involved the "new" wrestler
4. Each post must contain some game, but comments are allowed.
5. No back-to-back posting.
6. Have fun.

So, here we go. I'll keep it legit with my favorite match of all time.
Owen Hart v Bret Hart - Wrestlemania 10
Feel free to use either wrestler, since this is the start of the game.

Honestly, I'm trying, but I really can't think of a one-on-one match that I particularly enjoyed that included Luger, or at least a match that I remember well.
Benoit is God - April 14, 2005 04:09 AM (GMT)
Not to be a dick, but I have to ask...is that really your favorite Hansen match? Or have you just not seen any AJPW?
I only ask because Kenta Kobashi is crying right now.
Luger...vs Flair - GAB 88.

And Luger v Hansen is my favorite Hansen match, as it is the only Hansen match I remember vividly seeing. Sorry, not much Puro here.

"Sorry, not much Puro here. "
We need to do something about that. ;) Hansen vs Kobashi is a must-must-must-see match. You would love it. :)

Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart Summerslam Cage Match
I watch Puro, it's just I prefer New Japan to All Japan. Everytime I go to buy something from them I end up talking myself into New Japan stuff instead. Though I do have the Champions Carnival 95 and Hansen/Kawada.
