Title: Action Figure Federation:
Description: (ducks flaming diapers)

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 08:36 PM (GMT)
Thanks to recent discussion in the TNA Folder, in a topic created by D.A.V.E. The topic at hand is about the new NWA-TNA Action Figures, which, to sum it up quickly, look like shit except for a 1 or 2 of them. Raven Russo, Droz James, and Hollywood Nash Jarrett stand out as the worst.

Anyway, after going through memory lane in a discussion with TheManErnieRowe, I have decided to become an even BIGGER LOSER (if thats even possible), by posting the results of my action figure federation that I have worked on part time for years. It's almost the 10th year of stuff, so it's going to take some time to post all of this. For now, I'm just going to post the past results, then start angle discussion for the recent stuff.

However, some of the early results are missing, including the first half year of shows, so I'll just get over with the title reigns.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
World Championship:
- Jake "The Snake" Roberts won a 15-Man Royal Rumble Match to become the first Champion
- The Ultimate Warrior def. Jake Roberts for the Title at Wrestlemania I.
- Sid Vicious def. The Ultimate Warrior for the title at the 1st King of the Ring.

United States Championship:
Dirtbag has been champion the whole time, beating Andre The Giant on an epsiode of Saturday Night's Main Event.

Television Championship:
The title first debuted in May, when Sting def. "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka on an episode of Monday Night Raw. He's been champion since then.

Tag Team Championship:
Honestly can't remember history, but so far Rhythm & Blues (Honkytonk Man & Casey Jones) are the Champions.

YEAR #1 Roster:
- (WWF/WCW Wrestlers)
Hulk Hogan
The Ultimate Warrior
Sting
Jake "The Snake" Roberts
Sid Vicious
Big Boss Man
Rowdy Roddy Piper
Honkytonk Man
Demolition Smash
"Superfly" Jimmy Snuka
Andre The Giant
"Macho Man" Randy Savage
Akeem
"Nature Boy" Ric Flair
"Ravishing" Rick Rude
Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake
"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan
Barry Windham
Hillbilly Jim (Thumb)
Big John Studd (Thumb)
- (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
Dirtbag
Rahzar
Casey Jones
General Traag
Wingnut
- (Misc. Figures)
Dumptruck (Tale Spin)

Gradually, I started using more and more of the TMNT guys, while some become too broken to continue using, as were some of the WWF/WCW ones. Also later on, some new WWF ones appear as well. For now, it was a small roster with very few "cards".

Right now, I'm still reorganizing the papers (quite a lot), so I'll post them later until I get caught up to the present. (the last results are Summerslam IX and In Your House: Canadian Stampede... don't ask the reason).

SamoaRowe - February 24, 2005 08:57 PM (GMT)
::marks out::

If I stumble onto results from my old WM2000 game world, I'll post those too (the one where I make Godfather a main eventer).

This is very amusing to read (and nostalgic, I remember/had a lot of those TMNT figures).

 Either way, it's all good. I treated Gangrel very nicely in my game too. He never won a World title (or I don't think he did, I'll have to search for the notebook) but I know he appeared in a pay-per-view main event or two.

I gotta say, this is about the coolest thing I've read in a long, long time.

And it reminds me. My collection of action figures is certainly growing. I'm gonna start doing something like this too.

SamoaRowe - January 17, 2007 04:07 AM (GMT)
After reading my previous post in this thread, I was stumped as to what I was referring to as "JPAI" and it took me a few seconds to remember that Scrooge was briefly known as "Johnny Polo Ate It."

Ah, those were the days.

Scrooge McSuck - January 17, 2007 02:11 PM (GMT)
Johnny Polo ate what? And man is this topic old. :D

Nuh-uh. My stable of Stone Cold, Jesus, Doomsday (he killed Superman, ya know....), and Brock Venture will rule your stable's ass.

Doomsday...... he killed Superman....

eStragand - January 17, 2007 10:26 PM (GMT)
NERD ALERT----

Doomsday just punched Superman alot. Supes didn't "die", either...just went into hibernation for about five months to generate interest in his monthly titles. He's alive and well today, so Doomsday didn't kill anything. Heck, in retrospect the worst thing Doomsday did was put Blue Beetle in the hospital. Black Canary could do that.

Now if you want Superman dead-dead, call Batman. Batman has access to Kryptonite and could spike Superman's drink, or just smack him with a Krypto-bat-a-rang. Plus, since he's Underwater Armor Batman, he could conceivably sneak into the sewers below Superman's apartment and shoot Kryptonite up through the toilet. Nobody can survive a Kryptonite enema.

Gene Simmons is not only the God of Thunder (and Rock n' Roll), he's also the Anti-Christ. So that'd take out any Jesus action figure. (Wait..there's a JESUS figure? And someone bought it?!)

Snake-Eyes can survive anything. He's been drowned (twice), has a collection of spike-knuckled trench knives, heads up the Red Ninja Clan, has his own pet wolf and also bangs a hot redhead broad routinely.

Simon Fletcher is the most unheralded linebacker in NFL history. He also owned a chain of hot dog stands and had the Greatest Number in the World.

No. No. No. Mr E-Stranged. Doomsday did indeed kill Supes. Until he was brough back to life by some uhh, cosmic being.

Superman can see anything coming (because of his x-ray vision). That includes your precious Batman.

The power of God compels you. Jesus could so take Gene Simmons, plauges of locust, earthquakes, the Tempest :P.

Austin could take Snake-Eyes. He just could.....

Brock Venture would snap Fletcher's neck from the base of his spine.

SamoaRowe - January 19, 2007 04:24 PM (GMT)
I've bought two action figures in the past seven months... Rhino and Chris Sabin.

For Christmas, I got Colossus from my girlfriend and Mr. Perfect from my older sister :D

There, I do have someone who can kick Superman's ass, and that's Paul London!

eStragand - January 19, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
For a wacky Xmas gift, I got some Justice League Unlimited 3-packs. Ever since then, I've been picking up every one I can find. Never knew these existed.

Stuff like EVIL Superman, EVIL Martian Mahunter, EVIL Bull Dyke Wonder Woman, Doomsday, Invisible Amazo, six Green Lanterns, Dr. Fate and Dove can rack ass on any group.

SamoaRowe - January 19, 2007 11:40 PM (GMT)
I considered buying some of those three packs at one point, but didn't because I wanted to save money :D

Tempest - January 20, 2007 03:18 AM (GMT)
Wait, you have Six Green Lanterns? Why is this?

eStragand - January 20, 2007 08:34 PM (GMT)
There are at least 2,816 Green Lanterns. But you knew that and were just testing me to see if I knew that, right?

The six JLU GL figures are:
-Kilowog
-Tomar-Re
-John Stewart
-Kyle Rayner
-Arrkus Chummuck
-Katma Tui

Plus, there's EVIL Justice Lords John Stewart, so he could count as #7.

Or get technical and count Sinestro as #8.
